- I live in a city so I tend to use the lower setting of the Quad lamps on steady and the main light flashing so car drivers can see me.
- On steady high mode it has a beam better than any of my flashlights.
- At night in the city with the Dash set to Daylight flashing I can see signs 6 blocks away and people have told me to turn if off because it was so bright.
- The dual light types is nice. One for visibility and one for lighting my path.
- Multiple lighting options, I like the flash option which is bright for cars to detect you.
- I chose the 450 just in case I needed more illumination on darker residential streets, and its low and medium steady settings provide enough lighting without blinding oncoming traffic.
- he light is really awesome. Right out of the box you can tell that the thing is build with awesome quality.
- The CygoLite is blinding! I had been using a Planet Bike Beamer 5-LED light, but purchased this CygoLite for an upcoming ride which takes place primarily on regular streets. There's no question, this is considerably brighter.
- Really happy with this compact light. It fits nicely on both of my road bicycles, right next to my Garmin, without adding clutter.
- The light has a number of settings that work for most situations, Including in daylight when you want to be seen but you don't want to consume all the battery power.
- This button actually has a number of nice features: on/off, recalls last setting which is great!, low battery indicator, and will even tell you when you're operating at full power for some reason.
- I actually like the rubber strap mount, I've pulled it on tight and it doesn't really move positions.
- I love the little led bar on this light. Once the battery starts running low switch to led only mode and you get several hours more of light.
- I like the flexibility of being able to place it on various positions on my handlebar.
- Another thing I love is that it has the stretchy rubber thing to attach it to the handlebars rather than a mount it slides onto.
- Rubber mount has not torn or stretched yet. I occasionally have to tighten the swivel mount underneath the light as it turns on its own.
- Bar mount works with standard and ergo road drop bars (among others). Strongly recommend.
- The combination of lighting systems is smart, and the switch that toggles through the different beam/output combinations is very easy to use.
- I do like the flexible strap, it lets me move the CygoLite between bikes easily. Some have commented that the light still moves too much.
- The reason for my deducting one star: the rubber strap it comes with for handlebar mounting...I'm concerned that it's not going to last very long since the material isn't as stiff and sturdy as I would like.
- So far the battery life is great. Only charged once in a month.
- It's durable, charges relatively fast, extremely bright on it's highest setting.
- Rechargeable battery is much easier than having to swap out batteries every few weeks. Holds a long charge.
- Nice, bright light with a long-lasting battery.
- Compact unobtrusive bar mount and very powerful. Long lasting charge.
- It has several modes that make it useful for being visible to oncoming traffic as well a pretty good battery life.
- I like the fact that I can hook up my battery bank and start to charge/ use the light on empty (micro USB cord required).
- Rechargeable battery also adds to the value of this light.
- Also, I purchased this with the Hotshot 50, which has several functions as well and great battery life. The only very minor drawback is that they both use different USB connections.
- The battery has a run time of several hours on this setting, more on other settings. My one complaint is that there is not an indicator of how much charge the battery has.
