LG 65UJ7700
Sony XBR65X850D 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV
- This is the highest quality screen I have ever seen at a price that can’t be matched.
- Screen looks nice and sharp. I have it in my basement where it's somewhat a darker room and it displays blacks just fine.
- TV works perfectly, great screen, accesses Netflix etc no problem.
- Love this TV. It's the biggest screen we've ever had and the picture quality is great.
- I am not happy because the screen isn't very bright and the lettering is blurry , very blurry in general.
- The 4K resolution is great and sharp.
- Size and resolution are amazing.
- 4K resolution make it excellent for regular tasks including video editing, internet usage, office applications, programming, etc.
- For the price you are getting a extremely high resolution and color scheme.
- Excellent input lag/response rate. Fast motion is very smooth with no ghosting I could notice.

- The picture is sharp, its 4K. The color is great, don't get too caught up in the hard core technical reviews about color space etc.
- The picture quality and software are top notch.
- The picture is superb when you're streaming in HDR.
- The picture quality is very good, with deep blacks and vibrant colors.
- The picture is generally very pleasing and detailed.
- Colors gamut is large, dynamic range is great, and the picture quality is excellent. It's minimal and clean design is timeless and it sports a variety of inputs old and new.
- Yes, it is an IPS panel so the contrast ratio will be lower than VA panels, and because of its edge-lit LED, it is not as rich as a FALD or OLED, but its half the cost of those with about a 20 percent drop in performance, which in my eyes is worth the drop.
- It is able to immediately rearrange the colors on skin tones in dark scenes so they dont appear washed out due to light bleeding! I"m assuming It is due to the Triluminos and Xreality Pro tech built into the TV.
- HDR, maybe the photographer in me is just picky, but the contrast ratio just doesn't seem that great.
- Motionflow xr 960 is nice but still choppy when panning fast.

Sony XBR65X850D 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV
- Colors are insanely good, sound is great, can be standing to the side of the TV and watch the viewing angle is so good.
- The sound from the TV is pretty good for being built in.
- The surround sound really amazes me too. No complaints at all.
- Even the sound is decent. It has an equalizer and many settings to adjust.
- Sound quality is decent without the soundbar at but not great.
- Built-in speakers above average.
- The built-in speakers are actually tolerable and most people won't see anything wrong with them.
- The speakers are just okay compared to my old TV. That said, my viewing room is small so they work just fine to fill my room and even are good enough to play music and be clear.
- The only flaw is the speakers are lacking in bass, but for in-panel speakers that's not the end of the world.
- Fantastic picture but needed external speakers .

- There are plenty of inputs, and the built-in Bluetooth allows us to easily connect to our existing home audio system.
- Plenty of hdmi connections including side mounts.
- Great beautiful television. The sound is better than most average tvs. Connections are better than average.
- Great picture and the additional features and connectivity is really awesome.
- It drops my blu-ray player's connection while using it for Netflix and wants to force you to use the build in apps.
- With four HDMI ports and 3 USB ports, this set will beat most sets in this range when it comes to inputs.
- 4 HDMI ports. This is mind-blowing because my old plasma had 1 HDMI port... I've had to fuss around with HDMI switches for so many years...this is amazing.
- It's a huge pain in the behind to now have to wire the conference rooms for HDMI, and Sony's response to a feature they advertise on it not working correctly is the equivalent of an internet shrug.
- The USB is buried on the back and would be a hassle if the unit is wall mounted to plug for show and tell from a flash drive.
- HDMI connectivity to other devices seems to fail over time. Regular hard reboots solve both of these issues, making it pretty clear Sony's combo of hardware and software is a pretty poor performer when it comes to memory and cache.
