First, one bottle contains precisely 32 ounces of this fluid adhesive, so you'll definitely be getting your money's worth.

Of course, it isn't just the volume. What the company offers is one of the first truly waterproof formulas. It passes the ANSI/HPVA type I water-resistance specification. The bond strength that it offers is outstanding.

But what we like most about this glue is the application temperature and assembly time. Any temperature above 47°F will do so, for the most part, you'll be able to use the glue outdoors just as effectively as indoors. As for the assembly time, it takes the Titebond 1415 III between 20 to 25 minutes to completely dry out, so you won't have to wait an entire day to continue with your woodworking project.

Though the substance in question provides a pretty strong initial tack, it easily sands without softening. With this practical solution, you'll be able to keep your workspace clean. About the only issue we have with their formula is that the glue tends to thicken and you'll have to shake up the bottle every time you'd like to use it.

Other than that, not to sound like a broken record, but the Titebond 1415 III might be the only option on the market today worthy of the ultimate wood glue title. It is surprisingly cost-effective even without taking its outstanding adhesive properties and practicality into account.

Elmer's E7310 is what we would recommend to professional carpenters, aspiring handyman, or those DIY enthusiasts who are serious about their woodworking projects. The reason for that is quite simple - what we have here is easily one of the strongest adhesives in its price range.

The company's seemingly basic painted formula delivers excellent bond strength and stainability. It will stick any two pieces of wood together and it will create a bond stronger than any modern marriage.

Strength aside, one thing about this wood glue that makes it superior to most of its competition is how well it interacts with processing and other substances. You'll be able to paint, sand, or polish the glued surface and the adhesive in question will remain strong and invisible.

Being easily sandable and paintable is definitely one of the better things about this product. But we would be remiss not to mention the fact that the formula is also particularly resistant to mold, heat, and mildew, making the glue quite a bit more reliable than most of its counterparts.

It isn't really much of a downside but, one the glue completely dries out, it has more of a dark-brown hue than the advertised beige. But given that the adhesive is nearly invisible anyway, we wouldn't really focus too much on it.

The Gorilla 6200022 is a good product but it has its flaws. One thing that prevents the glue from scoring higher on our list is its assembly time. Unlike other options in this review, it takes the formula up to twenty-four hours to fully dry out, so there's a good chance you'll have to freeze your project for an entire day the moment you apply the glue.

The water-based formula doesn't include any solvents and that means you can freely use it with some of the more decorative pieces of furniture.

Again, the Gorilla 6200022 has its flaws. But it is easily one of the more versatile wood glues in its price range. The reasonable price and the strength of this glue make it a pretty good option for all kinds of customers.

Titebond as a company does like those extravagant names, doesn't it? The previous entry on our list was titled the Ultimate Wood Glue and this one is, apparently, Premium. Well, "premium" may be a bit of a strong word, but we can't say that we dislike this glue.

Though you can definitely use it indoors, just like any other glue, its outstanding water-resistance properties make it a particularly suitable adhesive for exterior applications.

Other than that, this is more or less your typical Titebond glue, with more or less typical of the company's products selling points. It has that strong initial tack. But unlike the majority of Titebond glues, the assembly time of this adhesive doesn't require more than 10 to 15 minutes. That means far less "hold" time and a lot more productivity.

The bonding strength that it offers will be more than enough for steadfast gluing. Plus, it is unaffected by finishes, making it flexible enough for a variety of different woodworking tasks. It is especially easily sanded, the sort of quality that is required for flush applications. Finally, it is FDA approved for indirect food contact, making this adhesive suitable for culinary hardware applications.

All in all, the Titebond 5004 II outdoor wood glue has quite a lot going for it. It is as good as any glue out there when it comes to your everyday woodworking applications. But, on top of that, the formula is surprisingly great for radio frequency (R-F) and hot press gluing systems.

The DAP 00157 Rapid Fuse isn't necessarily one of those products that one might suggest to a serious DIY enthusiast or a professional carpenter. It isn't really the quality of the glue that makes it a slightly less suitable option for these types of people but more so the quantity. What you get is a 4-ounce bottle, which is a great temporary replacement option or a nice choice for those who do not care about woodworking.

Another aspect of this product that makes it a fitting choice for inexperienced customers is how easy it is to use. The formula creates a clear bond. It doesn't produce a foam and you won't have to deal with any dripping scenarios.

The only real problem with their formula is that the open time is relatively limited (around 30 seconds), so we wouldn't recommend keeping the bottle open for an extended period of time.

But the assembly time, on the other hand, is pretty damn impressive. The non-toxic wood glue cures in about 30 minutes, so you won't have to waste a good chunk of your time waiting for the glue to finally kick in.

Though marketed as a wood adhesive, the substance bonds just as well to metal, rubber, ceramics, porcelain, glass, fabric, stone, concrete, and tile. So, if you're not necessarily passionate about woodworking, the DAP 00157 Rapid Fuse should fit you to a tee.
