Trifield 100XE

Protection Against Invisible Enemies

Unfortunately, not all threats are visible. However, there are solutions allowing you to fight even such threats. Using the Trifield 100XE EMF Meter may be regarded as a great protecting measure against serious issues caused by some categories of EMF. The distinguishing feature of that meter is that it is capable of measuring different types of electromagnetic radiation at a time: low-frequency electric and magnetic fields generated by AC power-fed electrical appliances as well as radio frequencies produced by smartphones, microwave ovens, and various devices using a wireless connection technology.
The model is very simple to operate and user-friendly. There is a convenient knob on the 100XE front panel for switching between different types of measurement. In addition, setting the knob to corresponding positions allows you to learn about the battery charge level as well as turn off the device when necessary.
Getting back to the Trifield 100XE EMF versatility, we should mention the two modes for measuring magnetic fields. The first mode provides measurements in the range from 0 to 100 milligauss, while the second one allows getting more accurate readings within the range of 0 - 3 milligauss due to a smaller increment. Thus, moving around the house, it'll be possible to measure electromagnetic fields and detect the exact location of dangerous sources of radiation such as PC monitors, TV sets, electric cookers and other smaller electrical appliances. To measure a radiation exposure level, all you need is to turn the knob to the specified position and see the readings on the scale. Based on the readings you can get actual volt/meter values by multiplying the scale readings by 10.

Simplicity as an Advantage

As we mentioned earlier, the Trifield 100XE EMF Meter is a very simple to use tool with a wide measurement range. These features allow the model to compete with professional and more expensive models. The only drawback is its size. The device is difficult to put and carry in the pocket. As for the rest, the EMF meter is a nice solution capable of meeting most of your needs.

Tips on the Scale

Let's take a look at the scale of 100 XE. Under the digits, you can see a red dotted line which passes into a solid one. With that, if the needle reaches the solid line, it means you are in the area with the radiation level exceeding the accepted value. All you need to do then is to detect the source of EMF radiation.

I am a member of a paranormal group, and this item works very well in that application. And I'm positive there are no power lines or any devices anywhere near there. I would highly recommend this product if this is what you plan on using it for.

What is an EMF Meter?

It goes without saying that it's important to systematically detect and locate different harmful factors in the area where you live or work as they can significantly deteriorate your health. EMF meters are designed for measuring the density of electromagnetic fields, which are present literally everywhere because of numerous equipment and devices that generate the fields. That makes such meters important instruments that help you stay aware of levels of EM radiation coming from electrical and electronic devices around you.

Actually, all electrical/electronic equipment, mobile devices are the source of electromagnetic radiation. With that, under certain conditions, EMF electromagnetic fields may have a negative impact on people's health. Therefore, it's crucial to know exposure levels coming from electronic equipment and protect yourself using an EMF detector as a radiation measurement tool. Additionally, this kind of devices is widely used for paranormal investigation, so, if you're planning to get engaged in this activity, an EMF meter is the right choice.

What Features to Compare

Type
In order to select the most suitable EMF Meter, you need to take some important parameters into account. First of all, decide on the type of the measuring tool you want to have. With analog (with a scale and a needle) and digital (with a display) EMF meters with different types of readings indication each of these types has its own advantages and drawbacks. While digital EMF devices are considered to take more accurate measurements the analog ones use to offer a shorter response time. The second crucial factor is the type of the field measured with your device: you need to find out whether you need a meter for detecting a magnetic field only or an electric, microwave radiation as well. Thus, if you're interested in having a handheld appliance for measuring all types of electromagnetic radiation, you should select a model which combines the corresponding capabilities.

Frequency Range
The frequency range plays an important role in measuring the density of electromagnetic fields as getting a complete picture of the EMF parameters in a particular place requires the tool to be capable of measuring in a wide frequency range. Additionally, we recommend paying attention to the supported range of field density values measured. Thus, if you're looking for a model for serious tasks, you should select the device with a wider measurement range.

Size
For some users, an EFM meter size matters a lot. In general, these portable devices rarely have large dimensions, however, if you're planning to carry one of these quite often you need to consider the size factor. As a rule, compact models are great solutions for the use in any place. For home and indoor applications, the size of the appliance turns out to be not that important.

FAQ:

Q: Can electromagnetic fields be harmful to people's health?
A: Electromagnetic radiation has an effect on human body, and it can really affect our health negatively, especially in the long term. To put it simply, EMFs have effects on human bodies at the cellular level. Electromagnetic radiation heats up body cells and tissues with the amount of affected cells and tissues determined by the level of the EMF people are exposed to. Some studies indicate a potential correlation between the level of radiation of cell phones and cancer risks. Moreover, new research demonstrates that electromagnetic fields can even cause oxidative stress to human body cells. This stress can damage all parts of our cells, including the genetic material contained within each cell (DNA), rendering the cells incapable of performing their functions in a proper way.

Q: How can I locate the source of electromagnetic fields if my EMF meter shows high readings?
A:  In the most cases, the source of the field (electric, magnetic, or radio) is located in the direction of the strongest signal. You need to keep in mind that each circular line of a magnetic field around the conductor (wire) goes through the conductor axis and lies in the same plane with the conductor axis. Therefore, alongside the conductor, the field lines are vertical, while underneath the wire, they are horizontal. The right orientation of a 1-axis meter may cause the meter to point at the wire, or straight up and down, or horizontal — it actually depends on the orientation of the sensor inside the meter and the position of the meter relative to the wire. Readings of the 3-axis EMF meter don't depend on the meter orientation, so the device can be positioned in virtually any direction and still offer a correct location of the field source. To determine the exact location of the source, move the meter towards and away from a suspected source of EMF and check if the measured values increase or decrease correspondingly.

Q: Do Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks pose risks to my health?
A:
Generally, Wi-Fi signals are considered to be harmless and it's almost impossible for them to produce a harmful effect on humans. The density of the field generated by these wireless networks is known to drop quickly over short distances, so the radiation energy that reaches your body is extremely weak. At average operating distances, the intensity of Wi-Fi signals is so low that it's not worth worrying about. Moreover, Wi-Fi signals are non-thermal, therefore this type of wireless connection doesn't cause heating cells or tissues. You may also consider using an Ethernet cable to turn your wireless router off when it’s not needed. Moreover, try to place your router at the maximum distance from your desk or bed that still allows getting a reasonably strong signal while reducing the exposure level.
