KitchenAid KG25H0B professional Stand Deluxe Electric Mixer Set
  • This is my first kitchenaid. So far we've only used it to mix a cake, make stir rolls and buttercream frosting. It worked great. I make cakes and intend to use it for fondant. My husband loves to make breads and is excited to use the dough hook.
  • I mix everything that needs to be mixed such as ground meat, eggs for omelettes, egg whites for meringue, cakes batter and more. It became my best friend in the kitchen.
Cuisinart SM-70
  • Cuisinart Mixer has the larger watts and truly beats out any other manufacturer. I have one and bought this one for my daughter, great addition to any kitchen!
  • Little difficult to keep adding ingredients while completing recipe. But, at least it can be eased by the head hinge. Love the power, love the storage of completing 3 to 4 Rum cakes and tripling recipes when needed. A beauty to look at. BUT, still would like a cover for it.
  • The 12 speed settings, they're great and I also like the fold option.
  • Motor speed is very precise, and the max speed is plenty fast enough for what I need.
  • Also like that it ramps up to speed slowly, no more flour flying everywhere. It is definitely more powerful & the deeper bowl is great.

KitchenAid KG25H0B professional Stand Deluxe Electric Mixer Set
  • This is a must have for all kitchens. I have used this mixer in my home for several years. I love it because constructed very well, making it sturdy (no wobbling or bouncing around when using), easy to clean and performs great when mixing a wide variety of items.
Cuisinart SM-70
  • A great piece of equipment; let down by the plastic used in its cover; other than that a Great product. This size of bowl is just right for a large family and allows the mixing to occur with ease.
  • The size of the bowls combined with the tilt head is fabulous and easy to work with. I made 50 lbs of mashed potatoes for Christmas and with two bowls it was a dream.
  • Surprisingly it's much lighter in weight than his Kitchen Aid mixer so it's much easier to move around the counter.
  • Amazingly, it's only slightly larger, and about the same weight than your standard ~4 quart KitchenAid.
  • It doesn't have a heavy weight during carrying it, but it has a solid heavy weight on my countertop. My boyfriend is a chef and he was quiet impressed with it, too!! I will keep you guys updated on how it performs. I have a food cottage bakery so it will go through some serious mixing.

What customers say about "Control"
KitchenAid KG25H0B professional Stand Deluxe Electric Mixer Set
  • Bought for wife. Does the job well. She would have preferred the tilt mechanism rather than the drop mechanism. Surprisingly noisy.
Cuisinart SM-70
  • Easy to use. Is doing a good job. Just buy it. The timer is is a little bit unusual.
  • The stronger motor is crucial if you're mixing bread doughs for minutes at a time. The taller, more narrow bowl shape prevents spilling. The timer function is tremendously useful.
  • I like its design and features, notably its large capacity, speed control, timer, etc. It does a good job mixing and whipping, although its planetary action is not so well designed.
  • The fact the display stays on on the side unless I unplug it. It doesn't display the time or anything, so it's kind of annoying to have to unplug it every time I'm finished.
  • I don't think this will live long it doesn't seem built well the control has a mind of its own and parts I thought to be metal are chrome plated plastic.

What customers say about "Details"
KitchenAid KG25H0B professional Stand Deluxe Electric Mixer Set
  • I bought the 3 quarts bowl for smaller recipes and I do not regret any of the money I spent on that machine.
  • The only drawback to this particular model that I see so far is that it seems that there are not as many attachment options (like glass bowls, water jackets, non-sealing bowl covers) as there are with other tilt head models. But you can't miss what you don't have ;)
Cuisinart SM-70
  • The 7 quart bowl, I can mix 2 batches of buttercream (I'm a baker) at once and also made double batches of fondant!
  • The deal breaker that made me go with Cuisinart is the fact that the mixing bowl is so tall. The height of the mixing bowl helps to keep what you are working on (whether bread dough or meat loaf) down in the pool instead of climbing up.
  • The size of the bowls combined with the tilt head is fabulous and easy to work with. I made 50 lbs of mashed potatoes for Christmas and with two bowls it was a dream.
  • It's bowl it tall and skinny, and a not as easy to manipulate. But, it is tough, and I've not come close to breaking it with heavy loads of bread dough.
  • Its a little more difficult to scrape the dough off the beater, & the bowl must be scraped all the way to the bottom, or things don't get thoroughly incorporated.
