- DAC/AMP combination is a bit warmer and the bass seems punchier than the DAC/AMP in the phone itself.
- Sounds honestly better than with the USB dac.

What customers say about "Features"
Audio-Technica AT-PHA55BT Wireless Headphone Amplifier
- The battery life of this is pretty good, I never got the claimed 8 hours of continuous use, but it is easily hit 5 to 6 hours.
- A unique feature of the PHA55BT, the unit also offers two modes of use.
- Pairing is simple, and with a split second of powering on the device, I am already connected and rocking out with no any problems.
- There is no USB DAC capability and no application support.
- Only weak point of the unit is the battery life. 3-hour to charge yields 8 hours of continuous playback.
Fiio BTR3 HiFi Bluetooth Receiver&USB DAC
- Most of the bluetooth receivers on the market seem to be cheap devices with loads of features, but absolutely awful sound quality but not BTR3.
- Also, the ability to use this as a super-tiny USB DAC is also a very cool feature.
- Features on this little device, once hooked up to the FiiO music application on the phone actually is quite impressive.
- A nice feature is that even though you are using the DAC directly, you can still maintain the Bluetooth connection to your phone and take calls.
- No equalizer options. Instead you would need to rely on equalizer from the source device which for phones is usually bad.
