What customers say about "Key Specs"
Vortex Sparc 2 (SPC-402) Red Dot MOA Scope
- The S2's lens caps flip up nicely, but are just pressed on, and shift easily from side to side if bumped.
- It's small, light, and uses little upper real estate. You can have flip up irons up at the same time no problem.
- The base that comes with it is actually very nice considering it was free. I expected to have to upgrade, but no concerns now, the optic is held securely in place.
- The optic is pretty tough, it's taken some banging around and works just fine.
- The red dot will not appear solid if you have astigmatism. It has a slight "starburst" appearance to me, but this can be mitigated by using it in conjunction with back up iron sights, as I did. Not the sight's fault really, just something to keep in mind.
AimPoint Micro T-1 (12417) 2 MOA with Standard Mount
- What's most amazing about this optic is that it is extremely lightweight (basically 4 ounces?!?) but still maintains durability.
- Great sight. Never had a single issue with an aimpoint. this was exactly what i needed.
- Solid red dot in a tiny package. Easy to aquire with both eyes open. Holds it's zero while firing.
- For moderately close range, this solution is amazing. I am really impressed.
- This is my second T-1. The first one is on my 300BLK. The ease of sighting in and the power conservation are great features. If I need another red-dot, I know what I'll get.
- Received a fake sight that was a airsoft clone. The dot could be changed between red and green. There was no serial number on the side of it and the aimpoint logo was in the wrong spot. The dial numbering for dot intensity was painted in either red or green when it should of been white.
- Fake. Logo is printed on top, no serial number. I should have paid attention to the reviews.

What customers say about "Features"
Vortex Sparc 2 (SPC-402) Red Dot MOA Scope
- The LED is plenty bright, I have no trouble seeing it in sunlight whatsoever.
- The glass is as clear as an Aimpoint. This means that the optic has a very slight blue hue just like the Aimpoint, but is not excessively dark. This is part of the red light filtration coatings they put on the glass.
- The red dot is very easy to see and the various levels of brightness will fit any lighting situation you encounter.
- The glass is crystal clear and won't fog. The quality of this optic far exceeds it's modest price tag.
- It's lightweight and compact. Even on my 10.5" blackout there is still plenty of room for my MBUS.
- The adjustments (brightness, windage, and elevation) to me, are on the "soft" side. In other words, it can be difficult to feel the "click" when making corrections, or powering on the unit. I'm comparing it to other optics I've owned, from Redfield to Zeiss.
AimPoint Micro T-1 (12417) 2 MOA with Standard Mount
- This sight is significantly pricier than the Aimpoint Micro H-1, and the only difference is the first couple of brightness settings are for using NIGHTVISION for maximum tacticool experience. Still, you only buy one of these once.
- This thing has a lot of strengths. One, it's easy to use. I find myself on setting 10 most of the time but in lower light situations 8 works as well (it goes up to 12 of brightness).
- I love my aim point... After the recalls on EOTech I will only use aim point from now on... I mounted my aim point with a LaRue tactical on my SCAR-L for absolute cowitness and it works flawlessly!
- When it comes to red dots, t1 is perfect for your AK front mount. T1 is same as H1 or R1 (you can just paint that one), HOWEVER, get it if you want to run Night Vision. This is perfect match for your PVS-14 people.
- Wrong finish,Turrets are wrong. Brightness controls on left side? No aimpoint markings on optic.
- Purchazed this trough one of Amazons vendors, at the begining all twelve settings work as advertized, Then about one hundred rounds later I turned it on at the range and to my surprise the first nine settings did not show a red dot only settings working 10,11 and12.

What customers say about "Power"
Vortex Sparc 2 (SPC-402) Red Dot MOA Scope
- It uses the Cr 2032 battery. AAA's would be nice, but that would make it bulkier. Can't have it all, I guess.
- Excellent battery life. I haven't measured how many hours but what I can say is that I leave it on at night since my rifle is always at the ready.
- Nice flip caps are included and the battery life is excellent.
- The optic shuts off by itself, saving battery life. It also comes with extra spacers and an extra battery.
- The battery life is not that of an Aimpoint but still very good. Just be aware that you will not leave this thing on for 3 years and it still be good to go. Have a spare battery.
AimPoint Micro T-1 (12417) 2 MOA with Standard Mount
- The battery lasts as advertised -- it's been on since I received it.
- Simply install the batteries, turn it on, sight in at the range and forget about it for a year or more.
- Awesome battery life.
