What customers say about "Key Specs"
Vortex StrikeFire 2 (SF-RG-501) Cantilever Mount Red/Green Dot Scope with Vortex Optics Hat
- The optic came in a box with all the necessary hardware for mounting (it came with a cantilever mount for lower 1/3 co-witness), a torx key for the mount screws, obligatory paperwork, an off-brand battery, and the hat.
- Cantilever mount makes use of a magnifier possible
- Shipping was lightning fast, packaging was superb, and mounting the scope to the rail was as simple as tightening a screw..
- Clear glass, great reticle, wonderful adjustment, and sturdy housing for a premium package at working man's prices!!
- At highest brightness settings, there is a bit of a hue on the perimeter of the reticle.
Bushnell TRS-25 Tilted Front Lens Red Dot Sight Riflescope
- The reticle itself is very good at all brightness levels. This red dot is light weight so you dont have to worry about bogging down your rifle/pistol with too much weight.
- I figured my old Chinese sks wouldn't, so I sought after an optic that offered quick acquisition within a comfortable eye relief distance and a readily visible reticle that was somewhat representative to a couple MOA red dot reference.
- The reticle is very bright as well. The sight has 11 adjustment settings for the reticle but I only needed to go to level 4.
- Zero'd it in at 25 yards and ran 500 rounds through it without a single problem Zero stayed right where it should be and the mount was rock solid.
- Just so my expectations for this unit are understood, I have this mounted on a Mossberg 500, which is a backup to my Benelli M4 with an Aimpoint T2.
- With the 3 I have you can see obvious quality games in the reticle.

What customers say about "Features"
Vortex StrikeFire 2 (SF-RG-501) Cantilever Mount Red/Green Dot Scope with Vortex Optics Hat
- The lens covers are included and fit firmly to the unit. no slop or rattle.
- Being able to change the color of the dot sights Buttons are very easy and accessible. The adjustments are plain and easy to use.
- Good sight, solid mount and feel but in retrospect I don't like the red/green feature.
- I like the auto shutoff feature (I tend to forget things like turning things off)
- Great optic for the money, impressive features. It's nice to be able to change not only the brightness but the color of the reticle from red to green.
Bushnell TRS-25 Tilted Front Lens Red Dot Sight Riflescope
- The windage and elevation adjustment knobs are very compact as well, each featuring a slot for a coin or other tool to make adjustments.
- It doesnt have great features and is pretty straight forward. Red dot isnt the sharpest, but it works great within 50 yards.
- Believe me there are more expensive sights out there but for the price I think you get some great features with this one.
- After receiving and fiddling with it a bit, I noticed it didn't have a zoom dot feature. I wish the optic was as advertised, I would probably buy a couple more if it was.
- Could have an auto shut off feature, but not the end of the world

What customers say about "Power"
Vortex StrikeFire 2 (SF-RG-501) Cantilever Mount Red/Green Dot Scope with Vortex Optics Hat
- Other red dot sights I have utilize a ruby coating on the reflecting lens which, while it slightly reduces the light transmission, also very effectively reflects the light from the diode extending battery life by reducing total light needed.
- Great battery life. The batteries are also the same type as my preferred tac light from Streamlight.
- I really like the unit. They are easy to zero, decent battery consumption, and seem to be durable.
- Easy operation and quality is very nice!!! Only draw back is battery life compared to Aimpoint.
- The only beef is, and this was an assumption on my part, based on the shape of the battery tube, I thought it would have used AA or AAA batteries.
Bushnell TRS-25 Tilted Front Lens Red Dot Sight Riflescope
- It uses the CR2032 battery and I personally have had them go much longer than a year before having to replace them. Just don't use cheap batteries, purchase a reputable brand and you will never find yourself in the woods with your red dot dead.
- Battery life is very good for the single button battery the sight uses, just remember to turn it off (set it to 0) when you are done with it for the day.
- It doesn't mind the elements and has a long battery life.
- Battery life is average at best, and you will drain the battery if you inadvertently leave the light on.
- The battery life seems to be adequate. Bushnell claims 3,000 hours.
