AimPoint CompM4 (11972) 2 MOA ACET Sight
- This sight is awesome I had it installed in 10 minutes. Took it to the range sighted it in at 25 then made small adjustment at 50 yards. Afterwards I set my steel silhouette up at 200 yards had no problem hitting it consistently with 55 grain fmj. Would recommend to anyone.
- It is very good, sturdy and the red dot is variable from bright to dim. You will love this sight...
- After months of research and reading many reviews, I chose the Aimpoint for my AR-15. It so far has worked great and was easy to zero in. It was very accurate out to 100 yards, which is the limit of my shooting range, but I would feel confident beyond that. I love this rds.
- Easy mounting, everything turns on and off as need. The reticle itself is easy to find for fast target acquisition. Not the best thing for shooting past 75 yards, but in close quarters you can not beat it.
- The red dot is not strong enough to see out side in the sun.
- FAKE AIMPOINT!!!! Aimpoint engraves their optics. This one was painted on. Fake cheap boxing. The red dot looks like 4 scrambled eggs
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
- Very nice product i love it. Reticle is sharp and crisp.
- Retains zero even if you remove it from your rifle thanks to the tension knob.
- Great red dot optic. Took it to the range last weekend and got it sighted in. Performed extremely well and was able to get it on bulls-eye in no time with a laser bore sight. Very good clarity on the glass with a slight blue tint.
- Excellent red dot... Adjustable reticle (dimmable), which makes it night vision (NV) compatible.
- I think the reticle is not as crisp as my Eotech, and the first few settings seems useless (invisible to my eye anyway).

What customers say about "Features"
AimPoint CompM4 (11972) 2 MOA ACET Sight
- Had an eotech 518 I like the aimpoint better for two big reasons. One being I like the brightness adjustment knob better and the other being battery life.
- Easy to zero and stays true. Variable brightness for day or night and even works with a night vision optic! I've had mine for around 6 months and love it.
- Very nice robust optic. I have been using this on a Colt AR and it has complimented it well. The sight can be used in a variety of modes ranging from invisible just about to eye blindingly bright. No amount of sunlight I have found can wash this out.
- This thing has a reputation that I found to be true. Fairly rugged, easy to adjust, and red dot goes from extremely dim to extremely bright. Holds it "zero"
- It does not came with mount for this price.
- Great optic, easy to use, easy to sight in, works great. The knob is huge and it's in the way of the bolt release.
- The field of view is very narrow and eye relief if to close for me. The 3 lowest settings can not be seen very well even in a low light condition and if you turn it up to the highest and next to highest setting the red dot starts to blur.
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
- The included Aimpoint mount is perfect height to cowitness the magpul sights.
- The brightest setting seems a bit larger than 2 moa and creates a red halo around the outer edge of the optic. I think two clicks down from full bright provides my most desirable sight picture. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
- The lowest settings can really be fine tuned for use with NV, and the 4 upper setting should get you through most lighting situations. It's an awesome value.
- Maintained zero after being bounced around a bit, without breathing hard. Very rugged, positive feel. Simple and very positive picatinny mount, and tethered covers for windage/elevation adjustment.
- Rear cap lens was scratched when I received the product.
- Tension knob for the mount catches on my chest rig sporadically (the knob is a bit bulky).

What customers say about "Power"
AimPoint CompM4 (11972) 2 MOA ACET Sight
- For me it came down to between this and the eo tech xps2. not only is this optic cheaper, but it has much better battery life.
- I have had this on my duty rifle for years. Zeroed it once and it’s still holding. Battery life is extremely impressive.
- The battery life is a key feature on this sight. Its qwesome.
- Its really hard IMO to beat an Aimpoint sight. They are supper tough and the battery life is incredible. I don't shoot but once every 1 to 2 weeks but i have yet to have an Aimpoint let me down.
- I have heard reports of folks getting 2.5years of service out of the battery but I must have an old battery.
AimPoint PRO (12841) Patrol Rifle Optic
- Battery life is great. Have had it constantly "on" for months now.
- The unit seems well made, solid, and I like the long battery life.
- I have left this on for almost 2 years straight, and the battery is still going strong.
- Battery apparently lasts for years, even w/ the optic left on (although, I'd probably swap it out every other year just because I'm anal about that).
