About the Product
Instant Pot® Duo Plus is the next evolution in the Duo Series, the #1 best-selling cooker in the Instant Pot family. The Duo Plus 9-In-1 Programmable kitchen appliance with advanced microprocessor technology incorporates all of the great features that made the Duo the #1 best seller. It has new and improved programs and features to continually support one's fast-paced and healthy lifestyle.
Cuisinart updates a classic! Our brushed stainless pressure cooker is safe, easy to use, cooks up to 70% faster than conventional methods and cooks healthier, too. Steam trapped in the pot builds up pressure that creates hotter temperatures, and the pot is so tightly sealed that vitamins and minerals can't boil away. Foods stay moist and flavors stay true. Features variable pressure and temperature settings, plus Browning, Simmering and Sauté functions for perfect roasts, stews, vegetables, cheesecake or custard.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
- Excellent...quietly does it's job. Stainless steel inner, 6qt. Holds alot.works fantastic.
- Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
- Great so far. Perfect hard-boiled eggs. Cooked chicken chili verde in 15 minutes - starting with raw chicken! Awesome capacity.
- We loved this at first but after about a month of use we are having problems with the lid sealing properly. We always put the lid on the same way, according to the manual instructions, and this has now happened twice.
- The only problem I've had is with the silicon ring that seals it. It picks up flavors and is difficult to get entirely clean.
Cuisinart CPC-600AMZ Electric Pressure Cooker
- Gasket to seal cooker is attached to a thin metal plate/disk that pushes into the lid. After each use, I pop this off, rinse it in water...Maybe this is why some people are talking about it getting clogged and needing to tap it, not sure, but folks, you gotta clean it!.
- I love this thing. 3.5 pound corned beef plus cabbage, potatoes, onions and carrots in 1 3/4 hours including pressure time.
- The pot can be removed a half an hour before you are ready to eat whatever is in there and you can set the unit on the "warm" feature and everything will be ready to eat in 30 mins and can be left all day if necessary.
- I am glad I switched to electric pressure cooker. It is easy to use. the cooking time was markedly reduced. There was no leakage of steam.
- Will it explode? NO! There are so many safety mechanisms built in, you would have to intentionally alter the cooker to become unsafe. All of my girlfriends have had nerves about the noises the pot makes getting up to pressure, this is normally!
- We've had issues with it taking a while to build up pressure and I'm starting to get some corosion on the outside of the device by the handle.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
- The size is definitely a huge plus. Construction quality is very high. The inner stainless vessel is really impressive quality.
- The 6 quart is the perfect size for a family of 4.
- Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
- The 6 quart size is good for my family of four.
Cuisinart CPC-600AMZ Electric Pressure Cooker
- As I said, I've used this for over 3 years using it 2-3 times a week with no problems. Just do basic cleaning and you should not have problems with seals or valves sticking
- As an added bonus - the insert has measuring lines for liquid on the inside. It would be hard to overload this cooker and experience the much dreaded explosive event.
- Beans are done in 15 minutes, lentil in 10. The size is just perfect for a family. Also important to note that it doesn't make much noise like the regular pressure cookers.
- Anyway, I absolutely love it and now I wonder what my: crockpot, oven and those other cooking vessels that are in my kitchen-- are for and whey they are allowed to take up space.
- My problem is with the construction of the lid. My handle started warping and bubbling after only 2 years of use.
- However, sometimes there is an issue with the seal ring, at first it was too big but over time (trying to get it to work properly) somehow the heat shrunk the ring to the right size so that a proper seal could be made

What customers say about "Control"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
- Three new preset buttons - cake, egg, sterilize. It also had the yogurt function which other IP do, but not some of the other makes. Large LCD Screen with Digital Display.
- So glad I got this model. Love the blue display and I don't have to scroll through every time with a dumb dial.
- It has a big bright display, lights that let you know where you are in the cooking process, and way more features.
- The display is really nice and clear. You can tell what function is being used and when pressure is set. The diagram on kid shows you what direction the "steam release" valve needs to be.
- The control panel allows me to see just where I am in the cooking process which is wonderful.
Cuisinart CPC-600AMZ Electric Pressure Cooker
- It has settings for saute, browning, and simmer (only additional settings I have used are browning, which I used to brown some pork prior to cooking and it worked really good).
- Settings are fairly intuitive. Cleanup is easy. The cooking pot is an insert which lifts out. The lid has five basic parts which you will separate for cleaning and that's it.
- The Cuisinart builds up to pressure fairly quickly and is a set-it-and-forget-it. You set a high/low with one button, a time to cook with another button and then press start.
- Pressure relief valve comes off completely for cleaning. After each use, I pop it off, run it under fresh water... it shows some corrosion, but nothing bad.
- As others around the web have noted, you cannot use the saute setting to brown or sear ingredients before pressure cooking. It seems using saute causes the unit to think it's too hot, so it won't come to pressure and instead switches to "keep warm" rather than cooking your food.
- I did a little research. You'll have to saute your foods on the stove and then move them to the Cuisinart. Sorry, but I'm not going to dirty another pot because Cuisinart's product doesn't perform as promised.

What customers say about "Features"
Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1) 6 Qt Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker
- Can use it on any surface, the bottom does not get very hot.
- Has a ton of features, but like a microwave you just end pushing the +minute button for most things.
- The yogurt feature- wow! I used to make it in my crock pot but it was tricky and I would often burn my milk during the "scald" stage. No more baby! It boils the milk for you and then maintains the correct incubation temperature for however long you want
- It takes waaay longer to get up to pressure treated than my stove top pressure cooker. Like way longer.
- It takes way longer to cool down than my stove top pressure cooker. Consequently it's pretty far from instant.
Cuisinart CPC-600AMZ Electric Pressure Cooker
- THIS is what makes this pressure cooker awesome! I used a stove top pressure cooker in the past, and this is SOOOO much better. I don't have to take up a spot on my stove.
- If you want to cook great meals in a very short time this is for you! I don't have to get up early to get everything ready for an evening meal. I can now wait until I get home from work to get started and have a fabulous meal for dinner!
- You won't regret this purchase. It's especially helpful to people who want to have a healthful diet but don't want to spend hours in the kitchen after a long day at work.
- Also - a big plus, it's easy to clean.
- The cooking insert and meat rack are both dishwasher safe, and if they aren't don't tell me as I've been popping them both in the dishwasher for months with no issues.
- It doesn't have some of the specialty (and often unused) functions such yogurt or porridge that the IP has but overall it operates the same and is just as easy to use.
