Instant Pot DUO 60 Plus (9-in-1)
Instant Pot DUO80 (7-in-1)
- Excellent...quietly does it's job. Stainless steel inner, 6qt. Holds alot.works fantastic.
- Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
- Great so far. Perfect hard-boiled eggs. Cooked chicken chili verde in 15 minutes - starting with raw chicken! Awesome capacity.
- We loved this at first but after about a month of use we are having problems with the lid sealing properly. We always put the lid on the same way, according to the manual instructions, and this has now happened twice.
- The only problem I've had is with the silicon ring that seals it. It picks up flavors and is difficult to get entirely clean.
- Fresh home made yogurt with Semi skimmed milk in 3 hours
- We have made yogurt by the litre, which is saving money, and had dinner from the pot most nights, using the saute and pressure cooker functions with veggies and tofu. Cheap, nutritious, tasty homemade meals are now the norm in our home.
- To make stock from a carcass is nearly as long as doing it in a pan so that was a disappointment but other than that it is easy to clean, less hassle than a stove top pressure cooker and once it is up to pressure it is very quiet.
- I recommend instant pot especially because being now a very well established brand in the pressure cookers panorama, is quite easy - and cheap - to find spare parts, seals, valves or inner pots.
- Also many say that you will need to buy a replacement seal eventually, but they are freely available and easily fitted. Best piece of kitchen kit we own.
- I love my Instant Pot. However, it is a bit misleading if you have never used one to read about the short "cooking times" because it does require pressure building time...which for mine can be as much as 20 minutes.
- I cook for a large family and lots of guests. That is the reason I chose the Instant Pot DUO80. It sais 8 litres in the description and so it sais on the original box. However inner pot has a 6 litres capacity only. ( I measured!)

- The size is definitely a huge plus. Construction quality is very high. The inner stainless vessel is really impressive quality.
- The 6 quart is the perfect size for a family of 4.
- Good size capacity compromise, cooks foods fast.
- The 6 quart size is good for my family of four.
- STAINLESS STEEL inner pot - NO TOXINS, NONSTICK COATINGS, NASTY CHEMICALS etc in your food.
- UL and ULC certified with 10 proven safety mechanisms
- После использования его очень легко очистить. Крышку нужно просто протирать, так как пища на самом деле не контактирует с ней, только сжатый пар, если вы не переполняете его!
- The capacity is more than big enough for my needs while the overall size of the cooker is not overly large so it doesn't take up too much space in storage or on the kitchen work surface.
- The build quality is excellent. It feels very sturdy and well engineered, and like it's been designed by someone who actually cooks.
- One thing to be aware of regarding capacity, the 6L version when filled to the maximum mark only takes 5L of liquid, presumably the other litre is required for the pressurized steam.
- I eventually purchased the Instant Pot over the others because of the stainless steel insert (no aluminum), the size of the pot (I wanted a larger capacity), and the ease of use.
- Three new preset buttons - cake, egg, sterilize. It also had the yogurt function which other IP do, but not some of the other makes. Large LCD Screen with Digital Display.
- So glad I got this model. Love the blue display and I don't have to scroll through every time with a dumb dial.
- It has a big bright display, lights that let you know where you are in the cooking process, and way more features.
- The display is really nice and clear. You can tell what function is being used and when pressure is set. The diagram on kid shows you what direction the "steam release" valve needs to be.
- The control panel allows me to see just where I am in the cooking process which is wonderful.
- Actual cook time is a lot less. Amazing piece of kit...
- Since it is electric pressure cooker with built in settings, it will automatically turn off the cooking for you , so you dont have to stand near by the stove all the time.
- Delayed timer , which means turn on the delayed timer in the morning and by the time you come from office you have fresh piping hot homemade food ready to devour - PURE BLISS
- With every angle covered from delayed start to keep it warm, you load it up and go watch tv, or read a book, or to bed, or work, whatever, assuming you pressed the right buttons in the right order (child's play)
- This is a very good cooker. I love the fact that I can leave it to turn itself off as I was always boiling things dry in the old style pressure cooker. It was expensive though.
- After several months use the digital display has lost one of its bars.
- The cooking time is a bit misleading in that you have to wait for the pressure to build so don’t think that your going to have a lovely meal in 20 minuets from the moment you put everything in it, but once’s it’s under way it’s still faster by a mile on conventional cooking
- Can use it on any surface, the bottom does not get very hot.
- Has a ton of features, but like a microwave you just end pushing the +minute button for most things.
- The yogurt feature- wow! I used to make it in my crock pot but it was tricky and I would often burn my milk during the "scald" stage. No more baby! It boils the milk for you and then maintains the correct incubation temperature for however long you want
- It takes waaay longer to get up to pressure treated than my stove top pressure cooker. Like way longer.
- It takes way longer to cool down than my stove top pressure cooker. Consequently it's pretty far from instant.
- There are so many functions you can use for multiple cooking , some of them are Yogurt mode to make yogurt, Rice mode for rice, Slow cook mode etc.
- Manually you can adjust time and pressure as well. Great for people who want to experiment in their cooking to find out the fastest times for their cooking , which saves lot of time than to use preset functions.
- Nice to be able to brown the meat in the same pot before using the pressue cooker or slow cook. And it's not scary like the old pressure cookers either. I love it.
- Amazing. Every kitchen must have this. Can’t wait for winter and more stews and quick cooked hearty meals. So far winning all around. If you want more ideas check out two chubby cubs they have loads of recipes all delish.
- I have made so many dishes I couldn't list them all but they include curries, cheesecakes, suet puddings, shepherds pies, mash pots, whole chickens, gammon, porridge...list goes on.
- Keep Warm function exists, but it is better not to use it, as your rice will get dried up quite quickly and leaves inedible dried up crust on the surface.
- First, the keep warm functionality. Even if it is very valuable sometimes, it can ruin what you are cooking, so it should be optional, wonder how they didnt think of it!
