What customers say about "Key Specs"
Fiio M7 High Resolution Lossless Music Player
  • Sound quality is excellent with several sets of headphones used.
  • The construction is solid and feels like a high-quality player. LOVE the click wheel used to control the volume.
  • Sounds good, bluetooth sounds good but latest and greatest firmware adds several minutes of dead space between songs if it plays the next song in the mode you select.
  • Sound quality is similar to other Fiios and increases evidently with the wired connection over bluetooth.
  • I found this product to have poor sound quality and a poorly functioning touch screen. Very disappointing.
Fiio M9 High Resolution Lossless Music MP3 Player
  • The user interface is simple and easy enough. In an ideal world the keyboard would be bigger for my fat fingers when I try to searching for an artist or song, but I manage.
  • Sound quality is very good. Tried them with oriveti basic iems and focal clear headphones and the M9 drove them easily and make them sound quite good.
  • This is a super audio player that has some serious volume output. Thats louder than the astell & kern kann!
  • The ui is flawless, the sound signature is neutral there is no colouration, the audio sounds exactly like it should, its neither warm or cold sounding.
  • The interface is laggy and slow, I'm constantly pressing something and waiting a second for the interface to react.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Fiio M7 High Resolution Lossless Music Player
  • It has a weight and heft to it that reminds you no cheap plastic has been used to create this thing.
  • Build construction is excellent. Heavy enough but also easy on your pocket.
  • I enjoy the sound from this player, the size is also a plus and it feels solid.
  • Build quality is very nice and the screen resists fingerprints better than any touch device I have ever owned. And also these are very nice sizes for the hand.
  • Its corners are not sculpted and may not be comfortable in your hand. The size is large so it is inconvenient to use one hand.
Fiio M9 High Resolution Lossless Music MP3 Player
  • Very fast delivery. It is a fantastic little player. It soundet very good.
  • The balanced output is great. The formfactor is superior. Its the right size.
  • I was pleased with the size, design, and general build quility.
  • I also like the M9's small pocket-size form factor and the ability to easily swap microSD chips without having to remove its case, which is a major convenience.
  • Weight grieved me because it is too heavy a player that I get tired of holding in my hands.

What customers say about "Features"
Fiio M7 High Resolution Lossless Music Player
  • The cable for charging/data transfer is of decent length – I don’t need to have the DAP right next to me when transferring music to the unit from my laptop.
  • It paired easily via LDAC connection to my headphones and the sound is phenomenal! I've also tested the sound wired via usb, & the mini headphone jack and each is great.
  • The swipe gestures are easy to learn and memorize, and really help you get around the player quickly. I couldn’t really seem to find any bugs either.
  • It would be nice if those three little buttons on the left side of the unit were on the top instead, it would make it easier to hold the unit.
  • UI is convoluted, and it is hard to read the track names in full -- the font is too large (with no ability to change the font size), plus the folder icon is unnecessarily large.
Fiio M9 High Resolution Lossless Music MP3 Player
  • You can use it as usb back with a computer, as DAP&DAC driving iems or headphones and as a pure DAP connected to separate DAC&Headphone amp like the Hugo2.
  • The screen is small but not unusable and I didn’t find the operating system too laggy.
  • Sounds excellent. Interface a lot better than old FiiOs. Scrolling is fine but be nice to be able to jump through alphabet or view artist/album for the track being listened to.
  • It has many bluetooth options, but could not get any of them to work properly. The sound via bluetooth to any iem or headphone I tried was too low and poor.
  • You expect it to provide a smartphone-like UI experience but it is still far from it. It crashes a lot. And the M9 still lags a lot.

What customers say about "Power"
Fiio M7 High Resolution Lossless Music Player
  • Battery life is very good and lasts as advertised. Bluetooth connection is easy and steady.
  • Battery life – really does last quite long. Even after using it for most of the day, I still have like 20% battery left.
  • I was the most impressed with battery life. 20 hours is a VERY good estimation of its life, and plenty long for my needs.
  • I use the media player everyday for work and last me 2.5 days on a single charge.
  • No wifi like similarly priced items, battery died after sitting un used for several weeks.
Fiio M9 High Resolution Lossless Music MP3 Player
  • Battery life is very good. I cant listen all day in the office and there is still 20-30% power left.
  • The sound quality was excellent and battery life too from what I experienced.
  • This player has great build quality and battery life. The volume knob is a joy to use (for me) contrary to some reviewers.
  • It's terribly slow at everything, has a slow to respond interface, and has a poor battery life.
  • The battery doesn't last as long as my old FiiO X5 did. The sound quality doesn't seem to be an improvement, either.
