What customers say about "Key Specs"
LG 38UC99-W QHD IPS w/Bluetooth Speakers
- Ideal monitor for work. Has amazing resolution.
- Beautiful picture, great design, LOVE the Bluetooth audio! The stand is a great design and allows you to easily position the display to your preference with truly very little effort.
- 3840 X 1600 (supports 1080 HD) is comfortable to the eyes and the clarity is crisp. It’s a sight to behold and it’s something anyone will be an awe.
- Refresh rate of 60Hz and can be boosted to 75Hz, this is going to depend on your graphic card from your computer.
- Again, since the screen is so large, the stand is small (which is great) and if you knock the monitor, or move it, there will be a sway back and forth.
- When pushing it to 75Hz there will be some lag (not much, but you’ll see it)
Acer XR382CQK Ultra Wide Curved Gaming Monitor 37.5"
- Size is shockingly good, but it took ~3 hours to get used to.
- Monitor provides great picture, at 3840x1600 it offers amazing detail to whatever I'm viewing.
- The resolution is great - getting 60Hz at 3840x1600 via USB-C on my 2016 MBP 15-inch.
- Resolution is great. I didn't expect to love the downlighting, but I do. Several color options and brightness settings for downlighting. Swivel is nice too.
- When you set the resolution to 3440*1440 and don't scale the text size, the text will be a little bit blur.

What customers say about "Display"
LG 38UC99-W QHD IPS w/Bluetooth Speakers
- The 38 ultra wide 21:9 is perfect for multi tasking and having multiple windows/programs open. 3840 horizontally gives you true UHD.
- This large curved monitor is the perfect monitor for me. I dob't care or use it for graphics editing or even gaming.
- This monitor is a dream for me; I spend around 12 or more hours per day working on my desktop. It is perfect for my architecture design work, easy to use and looks great.
- I have absolutely no complaints about it that would keep this monitor from receiving 5 stars from me. I love the anti-glare and curved screen.
- For my needs this monitor is perfect, especially the saturation, dark's, and color space spectrum.
Acer XR382CQK Ultra Wide Curved Gaming Monitor 37.5"
- Text and DPI are excellent. I was nervous about leaving Retina DPI as I like crisp text (coding, slack, excel, atom, contracts, reports).
- Brightness is excellent. Mines at 70/100 and I like very bright and very white whites.
- The matte screen finish really helps with reducing glare since there is a window directly behind where I'm sitting so the sunlight was always a pain, but the monitor does a good job at reducing the glare.
- Rich colors, excellent contrast and sharpness (at 3800 by 1600 it was always going to be great for movies) and very little light bleed.
- Less saturated colors (red/blue/green) compared to LG, possibly due to matte vs. glossy screen. The flatter colors are easier on the eyes surprisingly, especially for office and productivity work.

What customers say about "Features"
LG 38UC99-W QHD IPS w/Bluetooth Speakers
- Built-in 10W speakers perform the expectations you expect, a rich bass that is one of the best out there with built-in speakers.
- A lot of gaming features (FreeSync on racing looks phenomenal) that you’re able to customize to your liking in getting the best in quality when playing.
- Easy to Setup: No screws. Only hard part was clearing off your desk to find room.
- The smart energy saver turns off the monitor (good) but it blinks the power light constantly which is incredibly irritating.
- Because of having no swivel, for me, it became challenging and irritated to get in the back to plug and or disconnect a connecting port.
Acer XR382CQK Ultra Wide Curved Gaming Monitor 37.5"
- Bottom LED lights are pretty cool, easy to change or turn off.
- Generates very little heat or isn't noticeable at all
- Zero wobble with this stand, it's extremely sturdy
- The sick LED lights that display under the monitor are a great touch and one that I really think adds to the uniqueness of this display.
- Only way to adjust volume takes 2 clicks after programming the shortcut
- On board settings are a little tricky to navigate.
- Speakers could be better, but definitely not the worst I've ever heard on a monitor.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
LG 38UC99-W QHD IPS w/Bluetooth Speakers
- Works almost flawlessly with my MacBook Touch. I run a Thunderbolt 3 cable from my MBT to an OWC hub and then exit the hub through another Thunderbolt 3 to the monitor.
- System is setup in a bright area with windows, the antiglare on the surface is perfect. I had to buy a mini-DP to standard DP cable to get 60hz from a MacBook Pro.
- Love the size, love the curved display, love the connections, love that it connects to the new MacBook Pro via USB-C.
- One thing I don't like is that the USB ports in the back don't allow for connectivity to the computer. So they are really only good for charging phones.
Acer XR382CQK Ultra Wide Curved Gaming Monitor 37.5"
- USB-C functionality is perfect for Macbook Pro 2016
- HDMI (at least cable I had, not one it came with) seems to be working at 75hz, at least thats what it is showing in games. I am not sure why Acer says 75hz with display port only.
- I purchased this to work from home in the evenings and weekends. It worked great with my company supplied laptop with a USB-C port.
- I'm running from my computers display port and the image and sound quality are both good (sounds pretty good for monitor speakers).
- Love it. Use the included cables. I used an old display port cable and it didn't like it. I switched to the one in the bax and everything works great.
