About the Product
Need to carry your hydration in stealth mode? The Bootlegger™ keeps 1.5 liters of water (or maybe something more fortifying) tucked away under your jacket with the ultimate low-profile design. It’s a cold-weather version of a hydration vest, with extra-light, breathable materials and two sternum straps for a secure, bounce-free fit, plus an insulated drink tube to keep your water from freezing in cold temperatures. Plus, the new Crux reservoir delivers 20% more water with every sip, and features an ergonomic design that’s easy to grip — even with gloves on.
The Zoid™ does one thing, and it does it well: it maximizes your time on the mountain without bulking up your ride. The Zoid stows 2 liters of water in a minimal pack that’s slim enough to wear over or under your jacket. The Therminator™ harness features an insulated drink tube that zips away into the shoulder strap, where it’s out of your way and protected from cold weather, and the Snowshed™ back panel keeps powder from collecting on your pack. Two small pockets store the very basics: snacks, phone and keys.

What customers say about "Key Specs"
CamelBak Bootlegger Ski Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • Perfect size for day skiing, not too big but lasts all day of heavy skiing.
  • Overall, I like the small size, but do wish it included a few zipped areas to stash stuff besides just the main (water) pocket.
  • It has perfect size. It did not freeze. And it is easy to clean and reassemble.
  • I bought this thinking there would be room in it to hold a snack and my keys but it only holds water. If you want it to hold anything else then get a different backpack.
CamelBak Zoid Ski Hydration Pack, 70oz
  • The fit was perfect it never bothered me on my back while snow skiing! Perfect amount of room for all my nicknacks while spending a full day on the slopes.
  • Works very well! Very large reservoir, and slim enough to easy fit on the chair lift.
  • The new shut off valve is nice and streamlined. I have always been otherwise happy with Camelback systems and think they are the best bite valves out there.
  • Only complaint is the difficulty of getting a full bladder into the bag because of how slim form factor the bag is.

What customers say about "Features"
CamelBak Bootlegger Ski Hydration Pack, 50oz
  • Minimal features, but what I was looking for. Under ski jacket fit to ease my worries about catching on the chair lift. Perfect for me.
  • Works great in cold weather. I use it while skiing. If you don't fill the bladder completely you can fit a sandwich in pouch.
  • I get dehydrated easily at elevation. This is nearly a perfect solution! The 1.5L gives you enough water for at least a half-day in challenging conditions and a full day on groomers.
  • The 1500 ml capacity is adequate and will last most of the day, with refills quick and easy. It’s designed very well and very functional.
  • My one and only complaint is if it's cold, and I mean cold like below 30F the water will freeze in the tube even with the neoprene sleeve.
CamelBak Zoid Ski Hydration Pack, 70oz
  • This hydration pack is comfy and is a necessity if you plan on riding the whole day! The insulation prevents freezing and the bladder is large enough to last the day.
  • Most importantly, it kept my water from freezing. The zippered enclosure for the insulated tube is a great design.
  • Low profile is perfect for ski lifts and insulation keeps hose from freezing in extreme cold.
  • The bladder itself is easy to close which is great. Less chance of leaks when you lean back against this on the lift.
  • It is very cumbersome to remove the bladder from and place into the backpack.
