Srixon Q-Star Golf Balls (1-Dozen)
- Best golf ball on the market for intermediate players (15-20 hdcp). Beginners (30+ hdcp) should play with any ball under $20 a box (box = 12 balls, a sleeve = 3 balls).
- Over-compression means less distance. I've tried Bridgestone e5 and e6, but I have consistently scored lower with the Q-Star.
- They seem to fly pretty straight, so far only 4 of them haven't had the proper aerodynamics to fly straight and land in the middle of the fairway.
- Best overall distance ball I have ever played. 18 Hcp
- Q-Stars don't have the feel of a premium ball off the club face in my opinion, but they do spin pretty nicely with the low irons and I chip/putt well with them too.
Srixon Z-Star Golf Balls (One Dozen)
- They have a soft feel similar to the pro v1, which I like very much
- Srixon has a softer feel off the driver and around the green than the Titleist Pro V.
- Urethane cover, compression, at a price that will not kill me if I lose one or two? For a weekend golfer, this is an easy decision.
- I’m a 8.7 HDCP and prefer a softer ball that has spin around the greens. This fits the bill.
- The ball has a lower compression core and the advantage to the player is the fact that it has an even “softer feel on all shots and improved launch conditions for more distance off the tee."

What customers say about "Features"
Srixon Q-Star Golf Balls (1-Dozen)
- These are soft enough to get good feedback on putts(i think putting feedback is better with these than pro v1s, but I use a solid brass putter which probably has a lot to do with it.
- They also gave a nice roll on the fair ways. Overall, I would recommend these to any golfer. A great design and ball.
- These balls are soft around the green yet LONG off the tee - If you have a FAST swing speed, these may not be the best off the tee for you..
- Great price and good quality for the price. Would purchase again. Works well with the shots I play. I don't shape shots too much cause I'm not good at it.
- These were getting scuffed fairly bad every 3 holes or so... loved the feel, distance... everything about them. But I'm not willing to pay for 5 balls per round...
Srixon Z-Star Golf Balls (One Dozen)
- Screen grabbing is excellent. I can chip it low flight , and medium flight and they will spin very nicely in the 30-100 yard range, very similar results to the pro v1.
- I tested their balance making them float in salted water and the 3 I checked were perfectly balanced which means I don't have to worry about erratic behavior when putting.
- Best golf balls made. Spins as good as Pro V1x's, (maybe better). Z-Star's are better in windy conditions, they carry further against the wind and don't drift as much in cross wind.
- I also like the dimple pattern, for some reason visually the ball looks "bigger" than the titlest, I think is the effect of the bright white color and the dimple pattern.
- The ball definitely has a great feel to it and lasted longer than similar quality balls that were more expensive.
