- So, I typically hit about 240-250 off the tee for my driver and 220-240 for my 3 wood. I usually hit Taylormade Penta (1st generation) but was looking for a cheaper ball. I usually score in the 90s.
- This ball is straight off the tee and from the fairway. I was really surprised. On average I may not have gained a ton of yards over the Penta--maybe 5 yards on average? As someone else noted, it's not going to give you the same control and amount of spin approaching the green 125 yard in.
- Did not remove my slice but made it much more predictable so I could manage it much better and hit more short grass. It did give me distance.
- Compression rating # will increase if playing at higher elevations above 2000ft
- I purchased a dozen of these balls to see what all the hype was about. I will have to say I did not notice much more distance to my drive, I average around 295-310.
- The ball that all golfballs are measured up too. Always a good choice
- Soft around the greens and on the putter. There is a reason it is the number one ball in golf.
- I really like Titleist golf balls soft feel great on the greens
- Unmatched feel off the putter and around the greens. Good distance off the driver.
- They have a good, medium feel to them off the tee; it doesn't feel like a rock, but it also doesn't feel like a sponge either.
- So if that's where your game is as well, you're going to find great use out of this ball. And hopefully better scores, too.
- I only gave it a 4 for performance since that is kind of related to my skill and found it harder to stop on the green on pitches.
- Product was as shown and deliver on time with no damage. Once again they make this part of buying very easy.
- They are a quality buy if you like them and the price was right here but if you're bad like me a lesson might be a better use of your money.
- The balls are not in as good as shape as I had expected
- Perhaps the low handicaps get the most of it in terms of spin and control. But I'm a 18 handicap and when a I play with these golf balls the feeling in the swing is greater, they feel smooth and you can see the way the stop in the greens.
- The cover is soft enough to be able to spin the ball, but still stands up to wear and tear.
- The Pro V1 and Pro V1x have greatly improved all around preformance including more distance off the tee, bite around the greens and improved cover durability
- Often times when I find a Pro V1 they are still in great condition because of the quality and toughness that they have.
- Terrific Golf Ball that cuts thru the wind like a Surgical Knife.
