About the Product
The Schwinn 430 Elliptical looks a little different to the run of the mill ellipticals that you come across. That’s because it’s got a leveler and a stability bar in the middle of the machine. This innovation ensures that you get a nice steady ride throughout your workout.
The front drive ProForm Endurance 520 E is designed to help beginners stay motivated and reach goals efficiently with help from pro guidance. This elliptical is preloaded with 18 workouts and can work with unlimited training programs downloaded from iFit Coach.

Schwinn 430 Elliptical Machine
- The 430 provides with a high-speed inertia perimeter weighted flywheel. This ensures that you get a smooth, natural revolution each time.
- There is no unsteadiness or, even worse, jerkiness, when you move on this machine.
- This Schwinn 430 elliptical has a great stride length, much longer than the alternatives in this price range and lower that I researched.
- I've used the elliptical and it works beautifully, very smoothly and even on low resistance you get a good workout in!
- After a while, it became make a loud sound when switch the resistance.
ProForm Endurance 520 E
- You can adjust the resistance level electronically. You can also adjust the incline level, but only by getting off and lifting or lowering a lever, then getting back on.
- The machine is very quiet with just a faintly audible click per rotation at 60rpms coming from the flywheel.
- The stride feels smooth with each cycle, and I could not feel any clicks or catching.
- The transition among resistance levels feels smooth and relatively quiet, and the higher resistances give a substantial workout.
- After a few months of almost daily use, it did seem as if the resistance decreased some.

What customers say about "Design"
Schwinn 430 Elliptical Machine
- The pedals are set at the ideal height to allow you to easily get on and off.
- The 430 provides you with two sets of handles. One set is movable, mimicking the natural stride motion of your feet. The other set is fixed, allowing you to rest your arms.
- Large cushioned footplates contribute to comfortable, low-impact workouts
- Pedals don’t have adjustable angle, are less ergonomic than pedals on higher quality ellipticals.
- After a couple weeks I started hearing creaks and pops in the screws. Its frustrating since the machine is so quiet that any noise that develops strikes the nerves pretty hard.
ProForm Endurance 520 E
- These large pedals allow you a number of foot positions and provide important stability as you exercise.
- The handle grips are the most comfortable grips I've used on an elliptical.
- The foot pads are made of thick solid plastic, and they hold up well over 2 years.
- Handle grips can be uncomfortable after long workouts, especially if you’re tall.
- What I didn't like was that pedaling backwards was not as smooth as going forward.
