What customers say about "Key Specs"
CycleOps Hammer Direct Drive Smart Trainer
- Quite impressed. It's my first direct drive smart trainer, so I really can't compare it to it's current competitors.
- I purchased this because it was one of the top three direct-drive trainers and because it was on sale. As advertised, it is a heavy son of a gun.
- This is my first direct drive trainer, coming from the CycleOps Power Beam Pro. Super easy set up and easy to integrate with online programs.
- Power output accuracy is spot on as well and very close to what my Stages Power Meter is reading.
- I use it mainly for intervals, and the ability to coast after each makes them as realistic as doing them outside. I’m able to hit the same power inside as out. Amazing.
Tacx NEO 2 Smart Indoor Trainer
- It feels SO real, even the road surface feature. ( I thought at first the trainer broke when i didn't realize that I was riding on a plank bridge on Zwift! Then I realized it was working perfectly!)
- I’ve had my Neo 2 for more than six months and use it 3x a week. It’s a perfect trainer, IMHO.
- It’s really a pleasure to say this about a product in this day and age. Thanks Tacx...and please keep up the quality, Garmin, as the new owner!
- The road feel is shockingly real. You will not believe it.
- I coudnt ride the Tacx Neo 2 even for 1-2 miles without it loosing all resistance. I saw that the red light was blinking indicating overheating.

What customers say about "Features"
CycleOps Hammer Direct Drive Smart Trainer
- Very stable, and nice and compact when folded up.
- Came with interchangeable hub adapters to support different frame widths, which I had to use to attach my disc brake 11 speed cassette road bike.
- he Hammer is built like a tank! Kind of heavy to move around but I prefer something that might survive hours of indoor "hammering".
- This trainer is good, its strong, it's sturdy, it's quiet, when it works, it works great.
- Finally, I am very wary about what this is going to do to my carbon frame! Unlike a wheel, the trainer doesn't flex.
Tacx NEO 2 Smart Indoor Trainer
- It seamlessly integrates with my Garmin accessories and Zwift. My family appreciates it’s near total silence since most of my trainer sessions are early morning.
- You need to pedal a few times to activate/turn on the Neo, so that MacBook was able to connect via bluetooth. This worked quickly and easily. My Garmin watch also recognized the power/cadence sensor of Tacx.
- I love the power accuracy, silent, and 12 months same as cash with my amazon card.......whats not to love
- Perfect product - works out of the box. Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity and no callibration required.
- Returned it received a second, new not refurbished one, and first ride same thing Overheating warning and it shut down 12 min in. The units body as very hot to the touch.
