- On some racks, I can secure the frame and rear wheel to a rack together.
- This is made in Germany and while more expensive than what you can buy at Walmart, this will also provide far better security as well.
- I found that the X-plus cylinder mechanism is one of the most picking resistant mechanisms currently available and the design of this particular model makes it even more resistant to brute-force attacks.
- The mount for it on the bike is secure and of high quality, and with it being so big you can lock the frame and a wheel. Also makes it easier for wide or awkward bike racks. It is very well made.

- This is a seriously heavy lock offering top-notch security and peace of mind when locking up your ride.
- People have noted the weight, yes it's 4.5 pounds, but if you want a secure lock it's not going to be light. I carry mine in a belt with a hip bag and it's not an imposition at all.
- I think this is the best u-lock out there. For a casual thief, this is the equivalent of trying to break into a house with a yapping dog.
- This is a heavy, confidence-inspiring lock that leaves little space for a would-be thief to insinuate a tool, so it's plainly more difficult to break this lock.
- Secondly, it is only 6" long. So, locking your bike to a thick post with a small lock can be a tight squeeze.

- I also like the lighted feature on the main key that comes with the lock as it makes unlocking in poorly-lit areas much easier.
- Heavy, sturdy, and the lock and key mechanism still works smoothly as long as you lubricate it occasionally.
- The steel is very thick and the bottom bracket is heavy-duty. It would be very difficult for a would-be thief to cut through this.
- The failure is, the key goes in and turns just fine, the lock will not unlock.
- 6" is not enough for my opinion.
