- Very realible, safe & secure, strong durable & convenience. I'm happy with this folding lock.
- Folding design makes it easier to attach to objects compared to regular U-Lock.
- So easy to use, take from holder on bike - which does not rattle or add on any conceivable weight - then wrap round pillar or post.
- Good kit. Does the job, folds extremely well, fits perfectly on the crossbar of my Brompton.
- This lock has saved my bike. Thieves barely marked the lock and gave up pretty quickly.
- This is a seriously heavy lock offering top-notch security and peace of mind when locking up your ride.
- People have noted the weight, yes it's 4.5 pounds, but if you want a secure lock it's not going to be light. I carry mine in a belt with a hip bag and it's not an imposition at all.
- I think this is the best u-lock out there. For a casual thief, this is the equivalent of trying to break into a house with a yapping dog.
- This is a heavy, confidence-inspiring lock that leaves little space for a would-be thief to insinuate a tool, so it's plainly more difficult to break this lock.
- Secondly, it is only 6" long. So, locking your bike to a thick post with a small lock can be a tight squeeze.
- The actual lock, as in lock and key works very smoothly.
- I'm glad they come with a spare set of keys (and a key code to buy a replacement key).
- Once you get the hang of unlocking and using its a great product and really easy to carry on bike.
- It is a little heavy but it is very compact and easy to carry on the bike.
- The lock itself is heavy and sometimes it's tough to lock rear wheel, frame and lamp post together but it usually fits.
- I also like the lighted feature on the main key that comes with the lock as it makes unlocking in poorly-lit areas much easier.
- Heavy, sturdy, and the lock and key mechanism still works smoothly as long as you lubricate it occasionally.
- The steel is very thick and the bottom bracket is heavy-duty. It would be very difficult for a would-be thief to cut through this.
- The failure is, the key goes in and turns just fine, the lock will not unlock.
- 6" is not enough for my opinion.
