- I bought the wrong version of this wiper the first time since Amazon says it fit my car, but it was only the length that Amazon was checking.
- The fact that Bosch offers not just a variety of lengths down the inch, but also two different spring forces, is another indicator of the fact that these are not your average wiper blades.
- The connectors to the wiper arms is very secure and doesn't feel as flimsy as rain-x which is why I had to replace them in the first place (the connector broke and sent my wiper flying off the car!)10/10 will buy again.
- I have used Bosch on my Acura TL and C6 Vette with good results so I am not sure if I simply got a bad blade or the length along with the MDX arm design was the issue.
- Also, when comparing the length of original to these replacements, they are too long by at least 1.5 to 2 inches.
- Of note, shorter lengths perform pretty well.
- First off, I only rated this 4 stars because there's ALWAYS room for improvement. Nothing's perfect. I don't think I've ever left a 5-star review, but this shouldn't be a deterrent.
- I got these (26" and 24") to replace the stock wipers on my 2013 Honda Civic. The stock wipers were horrible, which is apparently a problem with the new Civics, but I suffered through a year with them. Installation was very easy.
- After a couple weeks of use I have so far been very pleased with them. They were very easy to attach to the wiper arms on my car, and do a better job of removing water from the windshield than the original OEM spring wiper blade assembly. I really should have switched to this sort of design sooner.
- The 26" wiper blade rubber is either too hard or the arch is too stiff. As a result, only the edges of the blade clear water.
- After doing some research on wiper blades, it was determined the beam type function better and really look much better than the "traditional" frame type wipers.
- The spring of the frame-less blade is a little bit too heavy, causing it to hang up over the glass in the middle if the spring in your wiper arm is more than a couple of years old.
- I've tried several brands and types of these single piece wiper blades. Too many of them chatter or lift up in wind, but these are the best. They work better than the best metal frame blades I've used and last through the year.
- These haven't had to deal with any winter weather yet, but have performed great in wet weather and summer bug season.
- After being disappointed by many other brands, these are holding up and are streak free even after a very wet tropical season here in S Florida.
- One last note, due to where I live, wipers don't last very long. 100 F temperatures, gritty dust, and a lot of direct sun tend to destroy them. I'll write back and modify this review if they last for less than a year. A year or more would be satisfactory for me.
- These are are modestly-priced option for bracketless wipers, which seems to be just the right way to make wipers. I don't know why anyone even makes the old kind.
- I have used Bosch Wiper Blades my entire life. Strictly because of the quality of their product. This wiper was purchased for a 2009 Pontiac Vibe Driver's Side. Perfect Fit as usual. Sometimes I will switch between the Evolution and the Icon brand of the wiper.
- With these wipers the way the rubber presses against the glass at all times prevents those debris from getting wedged in, which also results in clean wipes.
- However I've noticed on longer drives that the wiping/smearing gets better. On my hour long morning commutes to work, I find that the wipers perform decently by the end of my trip.
