- It takes no time (as opposed to "letting it breathe" which can take a while). I also think it's more thorough, the design aerates all of the wine in your glass, not just the portion near the oxygen when you aerate naturally.
- Makes the wine taste much better as if it had been aerated for the normal 30 minutes
- The Vinturi works great. Pro-tip: you do not need any extra screens for it since the screen is very durable and washable. The whole thing comes apart BTW.
- Small and effective, this aerator is perfect for accelerating the drinkability of your heavier reds. The original model came with a synthetic velveteen pouch so you could enjoy a red with dinner without the time needed to decant or let it breathe.
- The best feature of this for me is that you can pour single glasses for yourself, let's say, while preparing dinner:) and get a really nice smooth taste without needing to decant a whole lot.
- Don't use it on a bottle of wine that has already been open for a while.
- Of all of the wine aerators I've tried this is probably the most effective at aerating wine.
- It aerates the wine very nicely and with a careful hand when pouring it doesn't drip.
- This is probably the best $10 purchase I've ever made. If you are an avid wine drinker, you need this.
- However, if someone does appreciate the activity of aeration, as my father does (for whom this was a gift), it is a good product.
- The aerator itself is plastic. I am not knocking on the plastic as something like this could easily be broken.
- Comes with a strainer which catch wine sediment
- Super easy to clean - just rinse in water
- The holder is a convenient feature. It catches drips and is good to use when you're offering a variety of wines in self-serve fashion.
- The nice additional feature is it is portable. When you go to a restaurant, regardless of the price of the wine.
- Takes some practice to use and not spill
- Requires an extra hand to hold the Vinturi over the glass
- Came in a very nice storage case, so far no complaints!
- Amazing! Use this with almost every bottle of wine. So much easier than one of those that uses a stand.
- The device consists of two pieces which can be easily detached and cleaned and fits all wine bottles. It does not replace a caraffe for festive occasions but as an instant improvement for the casual bottle of wine it is an excellent idea.
- Unlike other more expensive aerators, which I've purchased and own, this one doesn't spew out the side, dribble on the table cloth, or require a less-than effective stand.
- Looks fancy, but no stand. I have to put it in the case everytime I store it. I wish it came with a stand or something.
