The sound of the Yamaha is rich enough with well defined middle to high frequencies and is really good for voices, both dialogue and singing.
The sound quality is quite above of what I was expecting for the price, with the bass being good and not drowing the higher frequencies, and everything else sounding clear and nice.
Brilliant sound after a few weeks of settling in. Handles music, TV and movies brilliantly.
The sound quality is very solid and clear, with plenty of bass for us and plenty of clarity. Its maximum volume would be too much for us in a decent-sized living room.
The bass is adequate when on max and the standby and remote teach functions as work well. Looks good too.

It has a nice design and pretty much blends in to the background. The low profile works nicely as it doesn't block any of the sensors for the TV controls.
TV sound is vastly improved, the virtual surround works nicely, and bass is sufficient.
Nice sound bar with good sound and excellent connectivity options. No space in my set up for surround sound so this filled my need quite well.
The sound is very distorted at a high frequency response. Which is very annoying because speech is hard to hear.
At low and high frequency response, a murky sound appears that does not allow you to hear well speech.

Pleasantly surprised by the depth of the sound considering the size and weight of the sound bar.
Small enough to fit easily under the TV, broad enough to spread the sound out.

Sounds great for the size. The sub really completes the sound envelope and adds to the quality depth of the sound.
I’m happy with the sound produced by the sound bar, the size and quality, but I hate the remote and especially the stupid app which is such a pain to access and use.
Excellent quality for the price. It's compact yet has rich sound. There are certainly better sound bars out there but not anywhere near this price.
This is a terrific, compact, powerful system. Which does its job perfectly.
The result is big heavy speakers and wires all over the place. Yes, those set ups provide you with great sound.

There’s a bass extension mode, which I prefer rather than some units that over boost bass so it becomes muddled - if you want more bass you can raise it.
Good variety of surround sound features including the app which is brill and the added bonus of the learning feature which means you can use your own TV remotes etc.
This the best soundbar ever, super sound quality with built in Sub woofers with surround sound and comes with mobile app too.
The App is very good; you can select the mode (TV, movie, music, bluetooth etc), control the volume and switch it off.
I like the App available, it allows you to adjust the sound from your listening position very precisely.

This is a nice sleek sound bar - very easy to hook up to my TV and turn it on - no fancy setups or difficult installations involved.
Wall mounting installation was easy. Does include a template for where two drill the two holes for mounting, but does not come with the actual hardware screws for mounting.
This one fits the bill for all three. Super easy to install and set up, and the sound quality is excellent.
Sound quality is above average for similarly priced sound bars I have heard and the voice enhancement feature is a big help to those who may be experiencing diminished hearing.
HDMI out isn't compatible with 4k which seems weird because almost all new tv's in 2016 are 4k.

Excellent sound and lots of options. Linked to mobile phone with Bluetooth easily.
Happy with this. Very good sound and the 3.5 analogue input is a bonus as I can use it to connect my phone using the headphone socket to play my Amazon music.
The Bluetooth facility was fast and easy to set up and sounds great playing from my iPad.
Best value for your money. It's a great upgrade from default speakers, easy to connect via Bluetooth to any device, sounds great.
Bluetooth works very well. Good bass sound with the subwoofer. I have tried a couple of these and this has been my best selection.

Perhaps one of the best features on the speaker is the Bluetooth connectivity.
It is very easy to interface between either my MacBook or iPad to test out some of my playlists.
Sound quality is actually pretty good. Streaming songs from my phone via Bluetooth is a nice feature. It's fairly easy to use with the units remote or your phone app.
The supplied optical digital audio cable failed after only two weeks of use.
When I turn on the unit in the next day their is no sound because HDMI (ARC) for some reason gets out of sync or perhaps or is faulty, difficult to say.
