I have a google play account set up with his favorite music and I connect it via bluetooth from my chromebook.
My phone or tablet are far away and safe, the volume is awesome, and if you have it connected to the phone and get a call, you can answer! This thing is great!
Blue tooth on my Alcatel One Touch connects easily every time.
I can wholeheartedly vouch for the water proof design, still would not fully submerge into any liquid though.
But the bluetooth connection was horrendous! My iPhone being like 20 feet away in another room made the playback annoying enough to create a habit of bringing the iPhone into the bathroom for my showers...

I listen to NPR in the mornings, and audio great for that. If listening to music, sounds about the same as if you played directly from your phone so don't expect a good high range or thumping bass.
I decided to try the phone feature again a few times and every time I tested it again, it the audio quality was on par with the sound I got while listening to music/podcasts.
The sound quality is great and now I can listen to my audible audio books in the shower without missing a word!
If you're addicted to podcasts, live sports audio, music, audio books, anything that streams/plays on an iPhone, get this shower speaker. You will be delighted with it!
It paired perfectly fine however absolutely no audio was produced from the speaker even when using the volume up and down.

If all of the above were not enough the speaker that I received cut off the first word of every sentence when playing audio books.
The sound quality is very good (as it should be in the shower) and I have not experienced any negative effects from water coming into contact with the speaker (as expected).
Pairs easily, decent sound, but distorts at higher volume levels.
The sound bounces around all the walls.
Sound is excellent. Any phone or device with Bluetooth capability to send sound will work.

At first the controls were hard to figure out but then I read the directions, who knew that's what they were for.
The controls are large and easy to use.
Amazing speaker though with easy to use controls definitely recommend for any music lovers and terrible shower singers like myself.
I would recommend iFox creations to add the FM radio feature and add an LCD display with a temperature sensor feature.
It was okay, but limited in volume and control.

I don't know if it has an auto shut off feature. Otherwise, 5 stars!
The radio feature is really nice as well as it comes in nice and clear with no static whatsoever.
One issue is seeing the controls is a little difficult. Other than that if you want an inexpensive small waterproof speaker this one works great.
This little speaker has awesome sound and it gets loud!! We've only tried it out 1 day so not sure of battery life.
The thing that really ruins my enjoyment of this speaker: The volume/skip controls. Placing volume +/- on the long-press function was a design mistake.
The second issue is the raising volume. I hate how I can't really control the volume well.

It has an amazingly long battery life and only once did he burn the power all the way down, and that was on a night I forgot to recharge.
As far as battery life, I listened to mine every day for about 30 mins for about 2 weeks before needing a charge.
Battery life is good, but it’s difficult to estimate the amount of time you get on a single charge unless you count your showers. I would definitely recommend this item.
I had a little difficulty powering off the device, but customer help pointed out that I have to hold the power button down for 5-6 seconds.
Even if I charge it up and don't use it, with the power off, for a couple days, it will be dead.

The battery life is about 8 hours, give or take, depending on volume and lights usage, only taking 2-3 hours to charge.
Battery life isn't the greatest. I feel like it's always dying and once it gets to low battery it still won't let you play music even while connected to a charger.
