- I bought this because it claims to remove chloramines, which is what Los Angeles now uses to clean its water. It was easy to hook up even though I only have a too-small funky little adjustable wrench
- The regular shower setting feels great, like a rain shower but a little stronger.
- The installation was pretty easy. Came with everything other than a wrench.
- Great filter. My house has horrible hard water with loads of chlorine! I am so upset I moved here and cannot wait to leave in a few months.
- I decided to give this filter a try, mostly because of the reviews here plus the description said any shower head would fit.
- As soon as I attach the filter the whole assembly moves and the connection looses up and leaks.
- It does not change the water pressure in any way
- Great product for the price and my biggest concern of water pressure being affected negatively (in my already low pressured apartment), was unwarranted!
- I installed my own shower head with Aquasana's filter, and the water pressure was just superb! I also love that I don't have to use Aquasana's shower head to get beautiful clear water.
- The water pressure is still great, no reduction there
- The biggest issue I have is the pressure is a bit too strong.
- This type of filter suffers from wearing down quickly. However, with the three stage filtering first, it shown minimal use with two people showering daily.
- This filter is bulky but it does help. I tested the water for chlorine and I tested it straight from the wall with no filter and it was filed with it then tested it with this filter on and it tested with no chlorine at all!
- This type of filter suffers from wearing down quickly. However, with the three stage filtering first, it shown minimal use with two people showering daily.
- At first we loved it. It filtered the water very nicely and worked as sold.
- Took two stars off for the lack of pressure, the lack of oil-rubbed bronze and the fact that replacement filters (filter only) are more expensive than a brand new unit, shower head AND filter. Replacement filter is model# PSF-1R.
- It definitely changes the water, and makes it softer
- One shower is all it takes to see the difference! I would highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to pay exorbitant prices for a whole-house water filtration system.
- We were also getting hard water stains and we have a pretty good filtration system on this house.
- I had one and recently bought another. I am very satisfied with the water filtration
- This is definitely not a keeper. I therefore cannot rate the filtration system, since the product is not usable as a shower. The most useless product I've purchased to date.
- The regular shower setting feels great, like a rain shower but a little stronger. There is also a very powerful massage blast setting and a weak setting that might be good for bathing an animal or someone very sensitive.
- It comes with a scent feature that I thought was a bit goofy at first but it’s actually really nice.
- The product itself seems nice and seems like it would perform as expected, but the connection is the worst I have ever seen.
- I assumed the connections that came pre-assembled were not tight and leaked on the first test. I was dumb to assume such.
- The connection to the pipe suck!! The gaskets do not meet design. In other words there is a design flaw for mounting the filter to your shower pipe.
- I will say it is a well-made unit and a snap to install. The provided showerhead is even fairly decent.
- I was half expecting it to leak where the filter connects to the shower pipe, because other reviews stated that happening, but a decent stream comes out of the filter itself.
- This is why this product gets 4 stars instead of 5. As mentioned in other reviews, the hose ends were troublesome.
- Well, a week after that posting, I noticed that the part of the hose that connects it to the handle was cracked.
- It leaks at the connection to the filter itself even after trying to adjust the tightness.
