Excellent clarity. It is very, very clear and the 6x magnification is what makes this one so appropriate thing for me.

The VPRO500 is somewhat larger than my previous model and the all-plastic exterior doesn't immediately communicate high quality, but the proof lies in its quick acquisition of target, immediate indication of precise range, and otherwise high functional performance.
It is easy to use and I've had no issues getting true distances from it.

It is very small and light. I just put it in my pocket.
VPRO500 is lightweight and only about 1/2 the size of my previous rangefinder.
I like the size and the focus adjustment.
Good size and weight to carry in my golf bag.
VPRO500 is too small for me, very uncomfortable.

Scan Mode enables me to take aim at targets in front of me to get yardages quickly on a variety of objects, really useful features.
Fantastic case. It is like a small camera case and there is a belt loop and also a little nub that goes into something like a holster.
The carrying pouch will definitely provide great protection for the RangeFinder
Battery door is not watertight - just a sliding cover.
The only current complaint I have is that the buttons for mode and power could be somewhat more sensitive so that less pressure could be applied~but this wouldn't discourage me from recommending or buying this model again.

It seems to be well constructed and the case is very nice to protect the unit when not in use.
Much easier to use than I expected and even with shaky hands can get the distance in seconds.
I have golfed in the rain, and spilled a beverage or two, so water resistance does matter to me.
This unit is the waterproof version and I would not bother with the non-waterproof model even if you don't play in the rain, as things get quite damp early in the morning and at dusk.
The protective case is too small, difficult to retrieve the rangefinder easily.
