- Can work for 2 dogs (have to buy another collar - only one comes with box).
- Has a good range. No need to bury wires in the ground.
- It's wireless and controlled from inside. The fence radius is adjustable.
- The wireless fence is great because it was so simple to set up and the radius can be adjusted in seconds. It took our dog 2 days and she knows to stay in the yard/ property. It's great for living out in the country with multiply acres of property!
- Metal objects can interfere with the signal, changing the fence radius, which confused the dog a couple of times.
- After about a year, one of the battery caps fell off while the dog was out. Had to shell out a few bucks for an extra cap and lost battery.
- Think about it this way. If your yard is a rectangle the wireless boarder will not exactly match your yard, instead it will be more oval in shape
- Customer support was responsive, polite, and helpful, but in the end it wasn't possible to create a large enough area for the dogs without a dead zone or encroaching into the neighbors' yards.
- I assumed that the wooded areas wouldn't work so well, but it does! I'm sure it's not as good of a signal back in there, but the fact that it works at all into the woods is impressive. I
- Love that this is portable and we can take in our trailer and reduce the area while we are camping. All in all works great!
- The transmitter does work, but did not get the added area that is advertised.
- It beeps when he get 5' to the fence before shocking him, which he usually responds to.
- Easy to instal. Adjustable shock level.
- What a great purchase this was. Instillation was very easy. Marley was very easy to train and stays home and within his boundtry. Well worth the money.
- Battery life/charger (should consider buying a better quality charger and batteries for regular use).
- The LCD Display on the base unit is also intermittent, with some of the lines of pixels not coming on. Bad, but, OK I'll live with it.
- Shortly after the battery cap fell off, one collars just quit working. We needed a collar, so I ordered a replacement for an additional $150.
- Really like that the collars are rechargeable. Only issue was it only creates a CIRCLE of protection - so the "corners' are tricky to the dogs at first - if you need corners
- The adjusting buckles on the collars don't hold letting the collar come loose, to where the contacts don't make contact.
- Warning beep is too low for humans to hear well. Easy to set up. Just plug in/charge collar. No batteries! Walk the perimeter and flag.
- The only downside is that one of them decided to roll in something in the yard and trying to clean the collars was pretty tough.
- Seems to work okay, although one of the collars does not turn green after it has charged overnight.
