- The headphones of all plastic but they have a great weight and feel to them and they are as far from "cheap" feeling as they can be.
- Nothing to complain about, great sound, comfortable, light weight. The coil attached to the left ear cup can be heavy at times but this is the issue with all the coil cable headphones.
- Very affordable and fairly comfortable given the size and weight. Even though they aren't technically noise cancelling, they do a very good job at muffling external sounds.
- The only thing that is an issue is the weight of the cord. Like the fact that the long cord, but it is a slight nuisance.
- There is enough weight on the headphones to make one's scalp hurt uncomfortably if one wears them for more than an hour or two.
- They're big and very comfortable. Light, but not so much.
- Easy listening, light on the head and it's got the style.
- Really very light if you need them to move around, but that costs badly in low end response.
- They are not too heavy on her head, wearing them the majority of the day, everyday during work.
- Solidly constructed with a sturdy size adjustment mechanism, and a comfortable fit that does not cause head or ear ache over extended periods.

- The SRH240 has a wider frequency range which could reach lower lows than the ATH-M50.
- Excellent frequency balance. All bands from low to high are represented well and fairly, not overwhelmingly.
- Very sensitive to quiet sounds, so high volume is almost never necessary, especially in a quiet room.
- Frequency response is phenomenal. Only a hardcore audio engineer could find a flaw in these.
- The sound quality at any frequency of these cans is superb. I haven't been able to distort them with my iPhone or my laptop at any percentage of volume.
- Sound quality is great, but the bass leaves a bit to be desired. The cable is REALLY long and permanently attached. Not complaining.
- The sound quality is good and I love the long cord, though I have rolled over it a few times with my office chair.
- These are great quality headphones at an even better price. Perfect frequency response and also perfect for mixing purposes.
- Great balance of frequencies that make it perfect for listening to classical music.
- My only complaint would be the cord. First, that it connects to both earpieces instead of just one cord on one side.
