- These work great, and are actually way more comfortable than the on-ear cushions.
- They feel very light on the head, and at appropriate listening volumes (not ear-bleeding levels) the sound is sublime.
- Light but not particularly comfortable to wear. Cushions could be made out of a better material.
- When I put them on, I noticed that they weren't as comfortable as the sr80i's, which was a disappointment. But I can still listen to them for an hour or two before I need to take them off.
- The aluminum adds weight to the headphones, but it feels good.
- These are great, neutral headphones and I like the overall weight and comfort of them.
- These are top quality headphones, light enough to wear for extended listening, and easy on the ears.
- I'd say comfort all depends on ear size and head-pressure sensitivity. I bought G-Cushion pads because I have a huge melon head and the supplied pads really hurt my ears after 30min of music.

- The sound is *extremely* detailed and clear - more than any other headphones I have ever heard (and I've heard A LOT).
- Voice and acoustic instruments sound very natural with great separation and transparency. The sound is phenomenal on *certain* recordings / genres.
- These Grado's present the sound clearly, with accurate bass and exceptional midrange that is addicting. However, the treble is a bit to brassy for my ears tuning
- Cable is nice and thick but pretty short.
- Bass is okay but there is room for improvement, could be bit more pronounced.
- On many recordings (try 90s Chris Rea or Genesis) the higher frequency range/treble is very emphasized and sibilant, to the point the overall sound degrades and it's fatiguing to listen to.
- These bring a depth and liveliness to music that other cans just don't. They aren't what I'd consider reference headphones. They aren't neutral or perfectly accurate sound reproducers.
- Clarity and clean sound yes. Separation and soundstage yes.
- The cord is nice and long and very thick. I'm only 5 foot tall so when I walk around with my phone or iPod in my pocket the cord hangs to my knees it is an easy 6+ foot cord.
- The cord is heavy duty. It does not feel cheap like the SR 80 cord.
- The sound is great, but the transducers keeps falling off. The pin that slides into the ear cup the flat pin on the head band that you can see in the picture which fits into the head band comes out and one or both ear pieces fall off.
- They sound great but they are not well made. The earpieces easily come off the headband...no glue used so the plastic cap just pops right off.
