- Its really comfortable and has a nice clamping force, not too tight, and not too light either. Perfect weight and size.
- Excellent weight balance, they sit perfectly on the head and do not fall when tilted.
- While the EL-8 isn’t by no means a small headphone, it is compact for a full-size open-back.
- The only minor gripe I have is that it would have been nice if Audeze had been a little more generous in headband size.
- Not a portable size and doesn't fold. Sound could be airier and soundstage more expansive.
- The ear pads are plush and good size, and despite the weight, they don't generally slide around.
- Good-sized headphones to sit comfortably on my head.
- Their weight and, size got too much. My head and ears and side of,face felt bruised.
- I returned these as their weight was too much and sound was a bit thin and unimpressive.
- Too bulky to wear in public. A lot of sound leakage. They’re heavier than your typical big headphones, although nowhere near as bulky as the LCD-X.

- Amazing open sound stage, sounds great even without a amplifier to push the amount of power it is capable of crystal clear at every frequency.
- I like what it has optional cable with Apple lightning connection and custom in-line DAC.
- The impedance of the EL-8 is only 30 ohms, so it’s easily driven by mobile devices.
- These have a very dynamic audio presentation with powerful bass. Not bass head bass just accurate well defined bass. Mid's are well presented as are the highs.
- The cable is crap. If you yank the cable out of the headphones just slightly too hard, your cable can easily break.
- These do have great low frequency response, which is actually preferable for what I need.
- Audio is good for modern pop/rock music. Heavy bass and low midtones.
- The Audeze have very nice bass for a headphone. I can just say it sounds great.
- The headphones are great but the cable is insanely bad - the connection in the headphone jack breaks after being used for a few hours, meaning there's no sound to the left ear.
- There is no mic shipped with these headphones. Not sure why they advertised In-line mic. There is no mic here.
