They can handle plenty of power without distortion - enough to fill the whole block with sound if need be.
These speakers are great. They are clear, powerful and the manage to hit the lows in a large patio.

The sound is fantastic and better than I expected for small speakers.
They are light weight and have good enough sound at a good inexpensive price.
Excellent sound quality, deep resonating bass coming from a pair of small speakers you can hide away indoors or out on the patio, finally a great purchase.
These speakers sound great althought they are a little big.
Look carefully at the photos and dimensions, these were a bit larger than what I expected.

I just put these out on my deck, installing them was easy. Their just the right size, their not small but not to large to fit under an overhang.

We installed them a couple of weeks ago and are very glad we did. Tone is balanced and clear. Even at high volume levels they are smooth and crisp.
Sounds is excellent. Bass is plentiful and tight. Mid and high range are distinct and balanced.
After a few months of listening, they sound really good. I'm impressed with the detail of music and with their ability to provide decent bass, without going "boomy".
Overall I was very satisfied with how they sounded. They provided good bass and fairly good detail.
These speakers provide decent background sound in the vicinity of, say, fifteen feet. Get twenty feet or more away, and they will not be able to provide much listening pleasure.
