- This meter had just about everything you need for testing. AC, DC, OHMS, Battery circuits, Load test.
- Bought it to help install a water heater and although there are several functions will probably use only the AC line test to see if power to appliances is on or off and the handy battery tester to stop throwing away batteries before they are done.
- I use this mainly for testing voltage with AC power and it works fine for me.
- I was pleasantly surprised at the "feel" of this little meter. I have used it to measure AC volts, DC volts, DC amps, and Resistance so far. Feels solid and is easy to use since it is auto-ranging.
- it was difficult getting the probes to respond unless I used considerable force, the beep for the continuity function was hard to hear, and when I set it to measure AC voltage, the machine beeped continuously.
- Really, like <0.5% error, and usually just a few digits off on the last significant shown. Even high frequency AC volts was right on (up to 400Vac 20kHz). Your results may vary, since manufacturing tolerances and final factory calibrations can vary.
- I haven't used this much, but it definitely looks and feels like a quality unit and seems very durable. It comes in a nice bag that protects the meter and holds the leads and timing clamp.
- A great product had to check a trouble light / checked out code , fixed , then hot the reset button , removed trouble light , works as described
- I used it for work and home. No comments so far, good to have one for DIY'ers. It also useful for home for electrical volt checking, clever AUTO range reading from 0 to 600 volts.
- I like all the different tests you can do with this dmm. I especially like the buzzer for continuity checking. I am hard of hearing but I can hear this one.
- This meter seems very accurate. Its the first meter I have ever owned that actually reads zero on the ohms scale when you touch the leads together. It seems well built and has very nice leads.
- The meter is great for the casual DIY person. I use it a lot to test batteries which does a drain test, not just voltage, to measure the POWER left in the battery. the other ranges work as expected and I am very happy with the purchase / price.
- I lost my 20 yrs old multimeter. Replace it with this one and I like it. That is all that I need to check my batteries voltage, continuity and resistance at home. Good value for the money so far.
- I have used this meter for ac voltage and to test battery's and I am pleased with the readings and the big display. easy to operate and handle.
- I work on computers, ATM's, changers, gaming equipment, etc.. This meter easily gives me AC or DC voltages and checks continuity with ease. It also has simple setting to check batteries and ohms.
- It has most of the features that a DIY type like me needs: DV volts, current, resistance, and temperature. I need this mainly for automotive maintenance.
- All around great meter. Worked great for finding a parasitic battery draw on wife's Accord. Temperature probe is a nice addition. Handy for checking ATF fluid temps while finding the correct servicing level on VW Jetta MK IV VR6.
- Regarding the meter functions, it's pretty crazy how many functions this little meter has. I doubt I'll need all of them, but nice to know they are there if a difficult problem occurs on a repair.
- This is a great quality multimeter. I succeeded in diagnosing the errant starter by checking the voltage and cranking voltage of the battery, then measuring the drain on the battery (only 3 milliamps, which is fine), which led to the starter.
- Great addition for any home mechanic!!! Everything needed for troubleshooting in one meter with a decent instruction booklet!!!
- multimeter is the only multimeter on the market that is flexible enough, simple enough, AND inexpensive enough to use solely as an all purpose, all variety battery tester - from 1.5V button batteries to 12 and 24V vehicle batteries.
- this meter will do fine for most people. very good price. don't worry that the display acts weird when probes are not taking a reading. it is auto-ranging, so it is looking for a voltage at all times.
- I was working under the dash so the elastic strap came in handy to hold the tester in view while I touched the various termination points on the connectors.
- The plastic case is very sturdy and will take some rough handling. The clips on the sides for the probes are very useful.
- Works great. I really like the auto ranging ability to save time from adjusting.
- The instrument face has large print, making it easy to read from short distances. The gauge is also adjusts scale automatically. There is no need to hunt between different voltage and resistance settings (10, 100, 1000, etc).
- This is a great meter, it is just too, difficult for a guy like me. The controls are definitely made for the professional who completely understand and works this meter often. I wish I would have bought the 3320 which a little bit easier to use. Again, still a great meter.
- Overall very high quality. An excellent multimeter, simple to operate. A very powerful tool with clear and simple operating instructions. Temperature probe reading is almost instantaneous. Inductive spark pick-up clamp is very durable surviving a few chops from radiator fan.
- The only thing I don't like is the elastic strap that holds the Meter inside the carrying case. It's a pain in the a-- to get it in and out. I think it would have been better if they had used Velcro straps.
- connector for the thermal probe broke on first usage. I thought it was just really inaccurate, but it must have broken when I plugged it in.
