- The helmet is also SNELL and DOT approved (I think this is the best value for a SNELL approved helmet, this is actually the only ONE that was approved by both SNELL&DOT and still under $200!).
- This helmet is a tremendous value. Snell and DOT certification at a very reasonable price.
- The materials are excellent. A large fit my head perfectly. It is also very quite. I couldnt be happier!
- Overall the quality is very good and this particular model fits my head quite well. I do have a complaint however and that is the fact that this helmet is very noisy at highway speeds.
- Helmets ok very noisy customer service is kinda lacking Cody needs better people skills. The manual says it comes with a chin curtain but it dont feel cheated.
- I am incredibly impressed with this helmet. I always thought of HJC as being on the lower end of the quality spectrum, but I no longer feel that way.
- Awesome helmet, love the drop down shades. Everything feels well put together and sturdy.
- This helmet works great! It's comfortable and it'll keep you safe in a crash!
- Great helmet, but not what it says. I ordered it because it had the sun shield but it does not have that. It’s funny. I ordered the exact same model in the shiny black but that one did. Be sure you are getting what you paid for.
- I'm 6'3" and 350lbs. with a huge circumference head and this worked for me. Rode over 120 miles and no problems.
- Fits to the form of your skull after a few rides. Holds up pretty well when it's raining (i.e. no leaks).
- I like design too. The shape/size is not overbearing and the weight is good.
- Works well for my head size/shape. I have a more rounded head and read the CL-17 is a better fit.
- THe helmet is great, very nice but the size chart is to small order one size larger it is to tight on my head and I measured on the low side of medium.
- It's very light, which you usually don't find in the lower end of the price range.
- The helmet fits great and everything functions appropriately. It is not too heavy and the controls work well.
- Super helm, i like it. Weri comfortable, i use it with hjc balaklava. With sun visore i look like pilot.
- Top air vents operable with gloves on. Very sturdy chin strap, lots of padding on it too.
- The padding looks well made and the finish is good, weight not too heavy and the visibility out the visor is unobstructed. The vents are a very nice feature as well.
- Cheeks a bit tight as to be expected with snell ratings but losses up. Good ventilation and easy to adjust when riding. Good value.
- The vents work as designed and are easy to use. Shield replacement is easily performed and requires no tools.
- Inside chin has space and Velcro for extra padding, but is not supplied with the helmet.
- Due to lack of chin curtain and chin padding, wind gets up in there. Nice on hot days, really bad on cold ones.
- Great helmet! Thanks! Love the pull down sun glass.
- The internal sun shade works well and the helmet is very quiet.
- This helmet is a fantastic bang for your buck. I love that I don't have to worry about hauling around sunglasses. the build in visors fit over regular glasses with plenty of room.
- Great helmet, it does fit snug compared to other helmets models made by this company. The fighter jet helmet style sunshade is very useful. It is aerodynamic, vents keep my head cool and the visor lock keeps the visor down at highway speed.
- The only downside is that when the vents are open, I actually catch bugs inside the visor. and there is no pillock, so I suggest investing in an anti-fog shield.
- I would give it a higher rating if it had speaker cutouts. Also the fact that the flip down visor is hardly tinted so you have to buy a darker one to install.
