The screen resolution on this HP monitor is phenomenal.
Large screen with decent resolution and pretty low response time.
Nice 27" monitor. Large format greatly increases productivity.
Text is painful to read as a desktop monitor in the 27".

This monitor is a great size. Offers ample real estate for my design software without being ridiculously big. Sleek design. Great image quality.
As a Let's Play gamer and editor, I found the 27xw to be just the right size and resolution for what I need to to.
This monitor is not top of the line, but for the price it's perfect. Great resolution and overall quality is good. The thin bazel makes it perfect for multiple monitors.
The image quality is great for the price, but what really blew me away was the size of the screen. I completely underestimated how large 27 inches was. Good buy for a good price.
I can recommend this monitor for web browsing and video. Gave it a shot with gaming and it failed miserably, refresh too slow, images are not too sharp.

Happy with the overall color reproduction with this IPS panel.
Clear crisp image, extremely thin monitor. Looks space age.
The HP 27er produces large clear images and its screen is matte so there is no glare, no eye strain.
I haven't had any issues with color or brightness.
IPS lets me do color-sensitive work as have most aforable color reproduction.

The screen is nice and bright and needed no calibration out of the box.
For the money this display is bright, easy to read and has a great overall look.
The picture is crisp with a nice wide viewing angle, thanks to IPS technology. The build quality is excellent and I also like the default stand, it sits at a perfect height for the setup I have.
This monitor is noticeably cleaner/crisper, and the contrast is just perfect. Has beautiful color rendering.
It's clear enough and is low power/heat but the contrast and black levels are abysmal. If you're just surfing the web or doing basic non-graphics productivity, it's fine.

I am impressed by the design and overall it is visually appealing.
Thin profile doesn't take up extra room on my desk.
No bezel helps provide a more seamless experience between multiple monitors.
Great display. Very thin bazels and the stand is sturdy.
The user interface is great, for example you can set one of the physical buttons to brightness and change the settings with just a few buttons.

This monitor has a beautifully display without significant glare.
I like the position of the power switch for easy power on/power off. Thin frame makes for good viewing
Nice, modern stand design fits in with most office decor I assume,and the picture is clear and bright.
This is a great monitor. The only draw back is it does not come with internal speakers like it should. It has 2 hdmi input but no built in speakers. Don't make sense
The stand is quite poor. I did not look closely enough at the photos, and thought the stand was attached at 2 points spaced apart, to prevent side to side wobble.

Has 2nd HDMI input which I appreciate for adding Roku, etc.
Good variety and number of inputs. Easy to connect anything.
Two HDMI inputs and a VGA connector show how these can be used for multiple connections.

The monitor has instant issues with one of the HDMI ports.

Multiple inputs allow me to switch between my recording/editing machine and my main gaming and streaming machine
I appreciate the 2 HDMI ports in the back for simultaneous input options.
It has two HDMI ports and one VGA port, this is especially nice for people who might be using their monitor for more than one device.
There is no display port input on the back. I had to use the only HDMI available on my main machines card, so I can't extend the desktop with a second 27xw monitor.
The only thing is that it does not have any audio jack or USB ports, but for the price, I really can't complain
