- My favorite word for this monitor is 'vibrant'. Color calibration not needed. And I no longer need my reading glasses. The resolution versus the size is a perfect match.
- Gsync Technology is huge for a monitor of this size and resolution and after reading that most games are not supported by its resolution i have have had no issues playing games on its 3440x1440p resolution and it looks absolutely incredible..
- Size/Resolution ratio gives a nice clear picture. Color is very nice. 100Hz is better for Gaming.
- Price is pretty hard to swallow but g-sync, the response time, the size and refresh rate almost make me forget about how much I spent.
- 3400x1440 resolution, 34” Ultra-Wide 21:9 format is my preferred resolution and size for productivity, gaming, watching movies, etc.
- This monitor is easily the best one I've ever had.
- On the gaming side of things, I had no problem overclocking the display to 100hz.
- Great IPS display. Functional size. Awesome OC refresh rate of 100hz.
- I'm pretty impressed with this monitor.
- The overclock is stable at 100hz and there is no noticeable coil whine.

- The colors are on point, many options for contrast and brightness adjustment, and it has the most screen real estate I've ever worked with on a single monitor.
- No dead pixels, no damage from shipping, and tolerable levels of backlight bleed.
- Arrived with no dead pixels, no damage from shipping, and tolerable levels of backlight bleed. YMMV.
- Like most people I do notice some back-light bleeding in the upper left and right corners of the screen at certain viewing angles and with darker backgrounds but every IPS monitor I've ever owned has done this.
- In terms of vividness & sharpness of image, sadly, this panel falls short of the Samsung. It's good, but the cf791 was terrific. Not really a con, more like a 7/10.
- The ips glow and back light bleed is minimal. Movies a amazing as well, as most are filed at this aspect ratio.
- The combination of the high resolution and color accuracy makes looking at high resolution landscape photographs feel as though I'm looking out a window.
- The colors are on point, many options for contrast and brightness adjustment, and it has the most screen real estate I've ever worked with on a single monitor.
- Only complaints I have with the monitor is that I'm unable to display my chrome cast in 21:9 aspect ratio though I'm sure it's just the chromecast's lack of support, and the menu keys are a pain to work with.
- I love this monitor, but there are some little things I dislike about it, mainly game manufactures unwillingness to include 21:9 support blaming it on an advantage when 122-200hz is acceptable.
- G-Sync is very noticeable to me. I couldn't be happier with the smoothness of some of my problematic games.
- The monitor looks great and the design of the stand is lower key than many, though the glossy black on the back looks a bit cheap.
- The stand feels sturdy, appears stylish, and the ability to easily move the monitor up/down is very much appreciated.
- The settings menu and buttons are clunky and confusing to navigate. (An IR sensor and remote would have been a nice solution for this, or at least helped.)
- A negative of the stand is that the forward arms protrude far forward on your desk, as well as behind the monitor. You may need more space or need to do a bit of re-arranging to use this monitor with this included stand.
- Stand is great, IPS glow is there, but menu navigation could be a whole lot better.
- Speakers are pretty good for daily use. Takes gaming and Movies to a whole new level. The only complaint has been stated many times - not them most intuitive OSD menu system.
- The vesa mounts were easy to use.
- Monitor bezel is very thin for a monitor this size.
- Playing at night has day/night cycle it becomes very distracting and most inconveniently you have to adjust yourself and move your viewing angle around just to see what you're doing.
- I was impressed that it included a DisplayPort cable for free, though I suppose at this price it should).
- The audio passthrough and usb ports are also nice.
- It does come with a display port but I just bought my own 4k cable. I highly recommend the X34 if you're a hardcore gamer, this is every gamers dream.
- The port placements in the back leave something to be desired, however.
- All the cords were just randomly in there and there was no plastic packaging over the DisplayPort and HDMI cords as well as the PowerSupply, whatever.
- The power port and video ports are annoying to get to. This is normally a 1 time annoyance, but an annoyance none the less.
- If using Display Port, you need to change the input from HDMI to DP. It defaults to HDMI when First plugging it in. Then overclock to 100hZ and boom. This monitor is beautiful.
- I really, really like this monitor. GSync only works with the display port.
- A few notes though, in order to get the 100hz you need to use a display port not an hdmi, the gsync will work through an hdmi but i felt it worked much better on the display port.
- When I connected it to my computer via DP I was pretty impressed, the smoothness and the size was great.
- A few more USB-3 ports would have been welcome as there is more than enough real estate for more sockets.
