- It's light weight, and very aesthetically pleasing. Great camera for someone who wants to take pictures of their family, travels, or for youtube videos.
- The weight is a bit more than a standard point and shoot, and you definitely can't just shove this bad boy in your pocket like may other cameras. But if quality is more-so what you are looking for, this is a perfect camera to get.
- Light weight and takes amazing pictures.
- The camera is easy to use and light weight. I like it.
- Sony Alpha a5000 camera design is fabulous and light weight.
- It's SMALL and lightweight. Great for hiking and traveling with. You hardly even notice it when you're carrying it around.
- Portable and light - I got a sigma 30mm 2.8 lens that makes it a great combo for everyday/food photography, and I use an adaptor for my canon landscape lenses. AF works, is slow, but so are landscapes.
- Portable.. Small, compact, tilt screen.. Easy to use.
- This is an amazing camera! It's light weight. Mirror less, and takes really nice pictures.
- Good for travelling.

- Takies great photos every time. The image stabilisation and degree of detail is impressive. Can be used on automatic as an idiot camera, or you can use many advanced settings.
- I got the silver version, fantastic camera with incredible quality images, fast processor, highly attractive and durably made.
- As a vlogger this camera is an essential, video quality is top notch!
- It's small but has a big punch! The photo quality is amazing and I love that you can flip the back screen up for selfies.
- The images were just not as crisp as I was hoping for. There is a blur at the edges of things, almost a muddy feel to them. It is possible a different lens could help, but I was not willing to chance that.
- The camera, when the settings were right, produced impressive photos. The video quality is stunning.
- Very good overall image quality, cleaner in the shadow with respect to the 70D/7D mkII sensors, and also somewhat sharper at low ISO.
- Low light ability is excellent.. Way above from Nex6 which I did test before purchase this.
- Image quality.. Very close to 70D.. I think it can make it with better glass in front of it ( which I will test later ) however, Image quality is great.
- 6 fps continuous shooting is kinda slow. I really felt this when I was trying to photograph flying birds.
- Sony raw files on this camera are not just real raw, they are somewhat manipulated. This allows for sharper, more detailed pictures, but I found that this creates a lot of extra color artifacts when shooting high contrast areas, in particular artificial lights in nighttime photography.

- The flip up screen comes in handy for self videos.
- The LCD is super bright and if used correctly one really does not need an EVF (Electronic View Finder) .
- I also love how the display flips up, perfect for vlogging and selfies.
- Love using the camera and love that it has the flip screen so that you can use it as a vlogging camera or to take bomb instagram selfies!
- I also loved the fact that it had a reversible LCD screen so that you can take good selfies.
- The LCD screen tilts 180 degrees.
- Touch the screen to focus on any part of the image.
- The LCD screen suffers in bright, sunny outdoor conditions. Even when using the sunny outdoor setting. This resulted in some pretty underexposed shots. I couldn't see what I was doing, which made me pine for a viewfinder.
- Touchscreen is a joke: works practically only for selecting the focus point. Tilting is nice but does not have the same flexibility of the canon articulated screen. Also not very bright, however I rarely shoot midday under the sun.
- Very limited touch screen.
- The kit lens also has a zoom feature on it along with Image Stabilization and is super handy in and around the city for day and night shots.
- Audio is very clear and battery life is also decent.
- Software features/ menu options are close to same as newer a6000.
- Very bad focus balance on selfies between fore and backgrounds.
- Lack of buttons to quickly change settings.
- It's pretty intuitive to use. I never looked at the manual until I started getting interested in more of the advanced, manual features.
- Apps are fairly well integrated with the camera's functions.
- Love all of the features & especially the screen that flips up. I use it to make sure I'm in focus while Vlogging. The auto focus is outstanding! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!
- I like the auto HDR feature -- gives exceptional results under lower light conditions.
- Can't take photos with the USB cable (power) plugged in.
- Sony app are not available in all Latin America, so one of the reasons I bought it was Timelapse app.. So for Costa Rica there's no option to purchase anything ( only free apps) in playmemories.

- Love the wifi feature to quickly send your images to your phone.
- The wifi feature is pretty cool.
- Wi-Fi with NFC.
- No microphone input.
- I mostly love this camera; however, I always have difficulties transferring the files to the computer. The USB doesn't work and the wi fi works most of the time but is very slow and skips files sometimes.
- My favorite feature is the ability to use my phone as a remote wirelessly and to send pics and video to my phone over WiFi.
- A huge addition was that the camera came with WiFi, which means I can send videos or photos taken with this camera to any device around me as long as i'm on WiFi.
- Easy to use, wonderful pictures, love the wifi feature to load the pictures on my phone.
- It takes beautiful photos and wifi transfer works easily.
- I haven’t been able to send the pictures to my phone (over WiFi as it says) but it works fine on my Mac.
