- First off I will say this LED is the best on the market for many reasons. I own a 300W KIND LED and used in comparison..
- 5Watt diodes ( need I say more ? ) competitors still using outdated 3Watt diodes..
- This was my first LED purchased for an indoor grow. Heard good and bad about it but overall seemed better than most on price range.
- Good luck on your LED purchases and if you are considering an affordable good quality light, viparspectra is solid!
- These lights are made with Gallium Aluminum Arcenide as part of the manufacturing process of LED's. It is a very toxic compound .
- As a long-term devotee of LED lighting, I am extremely happy with the Galaxyhydro 300w
- This light is great! My plant responded within 24 hours. Light is red dominant and excellent for flower. I Measured the unit with kilowatt meter it is using 126 Watts at the wall.
- Very bright, mostly red and blue spectrum LED's, making for a very purplish overall color. I have had two clones under it for a week now and they seem to be thriving so far.
- For anyone that doesn't have one of these LED lights understand that they are comprised over a mixture of red and blue lights (and maybe a third color) they will have a purple to red glow but the plants don't care as they don't need green light anyway.
- This thing has given me excellent results for the money. It is heavy on the red spectrums, which makes it a less effective light for vegging.
- Easy to set up, got two for a 4'x4'x8' - just ordered one more for complete coverage.
- HOWEVER, they recently changed the model so the lighting is slightly a different color but the coverage area is a lot better.
- Great coverage, lightweight, full spectrum lighting, easy setup, great for small indoor gardens.
- I grow three big plants in a 4x4 tent using two 600's and one 300, and the coverage is perfect.
- The light is a nice even mix of RED / BLUE lights and covers the full spectrum... I heard of complaint about too much blue / white light..
- Gotta love these lil power houses! I've put the every and from multiple angles to give my plants complete coverage.
- The light provides great coverage for the size of my tent and my plants appear to love it.
- I grew four plants in 5 gallon pails, and the coverage was perfect (approx 3' x3') Liked it so much I bought another.
- Better than I expected. It has a bigger coverage area than I thought and was a good bang for my buck.
- Fairly small coverage, can't fit much of anything else under it.
- Have three of these and they are working great. Love the daisy chain feature for the power.
- The daisy chain feature is also extremely convenient, that being the main reason I plan on getting 2 more.
- The daisy chain feature on this product is also amazing, allowing you to connect multiple devices together. The blue/purple color that this thing emits also adds a nice aesthetic touch to whatever room you are in.
- he chaining feature is a big bonus for cord management. I bought 2 and they worked so well I bought the 600w and it's amazing.
- It is thick, solid and well built. I made the mistake of looking directly at it when I turned it on the first time and I saw spots for the next hour.
- Every single LED and every single Cooling Fan continues to work.
- Fans work.Very bright, mostly red and blue spectrum LED's, making for a very purplish overall color.
- One fan did fail but the light worked fine. At the end of the grow, I requested a new fan from Miss Max from Galaxyhydro and she totally exceeded my expectation by sending me drivers and fans for BOTH my 300 watt grow lights.
- Built in fans, and sturdy wired cords to hang from. The only thing that they may want to change is to add an on/off switch.
- Works great. Lower fan noise than others like it. Quieter is always better.
