It gets up to temperature quickly and maintains that temp well.
It gets really hot very quickly so temperature testing had to occur but I use it often and even occasionally for curls and flips!
The flat iron heats very quickly and is easy to clean.
It heats up nicely and glides relatively smooth through my thick hair.
The iron seems pretty good, heats up well.

These products are made to LAST and the settings on them are amazing mine has several different heating options and they heat up fast!
Gets very hot and works great. By far my favorite flat iron I've ever had.
Heat goes up to 450F. It's great. Highly recommend it!
The first thing I noticed with this straightener was how quickly it heated up. I put it on the highest setting to test it on my curly hair and I was NOT disappointed.
Heats up in seconds. Works great on both of my daughters thick unruly hair and my thin frizzy hair!

This iron glides easily through my hair, allows for temperature control to achieve the desired style, heats up in record time, and is the perfect size for travel.
It heats up quickly, is a great size and works without tugging or pulling hair.
Though this is a travel size, it is perfect for use all the time.
The Iron size is very suitable. It is very convenient and isn't bulky.
This size is nice for adding a wave to you hair as well (you can look up the technique for curls/waves using a flat iron on youtube).

It has a temperature control dial that ranges from 140 degrees to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and a dual voltage of 110/220 volts so you can use it overseas.
You can set the temperature on it and it stays on that temperature, it doesn't get hotter the longer you have it on.
I love the digital display screen that lets me adjust the temperature without any problems.
I have some pretty wavy, course hair, so the temperature setting at its highest level works exactly how I need it to in order to get my hair to actually straighten.
With this HSI flat iron, I can straighten or curl my hair every day without drying my hair out like my old chi iron did. I also love the temperature range 240-400F.
It's okay but it would be better if it went on to a higher temperature, if there were more demarcations of the temperature, and if the temperature was read electronically.
Once it has initially heated to the set temperature, there is no feature to indicate if the iron has cooled and adequately reheated such as when using on damp hair. It's also difficult to tell with any precision what temperature the iron is set at.
The temperature knob only has one temp listed 410, you have to guess what temp you are on for anything lower.

Has an adjustable heat setting and extra long plates so I'm able to take larger sections when doing my hair.
I love the temp controls, I have fine hair and depending on the weather I may need more help. The adjust-ability is appreciated.
If you do a little research or know your hair products you know that ceramic plates are the BEST
I love the temperature control aspect, that it heats up fast and I don't get static in my hair.
The temperature dial was easy to use and it gives you lots of control over how much heat you want to use.
This iron gets hot quickly, but there is no flashing light or indicator that lets you know that it has reached the temperature that you set it at.
My only complaint is, the adjustment knob for temperature is hard to reach, and the numbers are hard to see, too small.

Swivel power cord to eliminate the power cord from twisting.
Although it has a lot of power and heats up quickly, it does not damage my hair.
Heats up really fast red power light turns green when it's all the way hot cord rotates so it isn't stuck in one position getting bent.
he cord is sturdy and swivels 360 degrees so it won't get tangled.
Long Cord, The major advantage in comparison to the other models is the long cord, makes it easy for moving it in different directions.
But after only nine months of not even daily use, the cord came out of the end of the straightener.
It seems like the cord connection is not good, so while I use it, the little "ready" light constantly turns from green to red.

This straightener heats up very quickly and I like that it has a long cord.
The cord is longer than most straighteners which is handy for reaching the outlet.
I bought this straightener over 2 years ago and I use it almost everyday. I especially love the lengthy cord.
The slim design makes it easy to get close to my roots without fear of burning my scalp, and the swiveling cord makes it easy to straighten my hair without the cord getting in the way.
The other thing I didn't like about this iron is it doesn't have a swivel cord which I thought was standard with new irons.
My main complaint is the $%#ing cord. Twists and tangles beyond belief, and when I pull lightly on it to lengthen it, it unplugs from the wall, the unit shuts off, I plug it back in, turn it on again and untwist by hand.
