Remington Pro 1"-1½" Curling Wand (CI9538)
- Does not go over 375 but it still works very well.
- Cord too short.
- This was supposed to have a long cord; it is the regular shorter length which makes it more difficult to plug in where I want and still be able to use it.
- The bracket it sits on get in the way and I am disappointed with the electrical cord. This one is too short and harder maneuver.
- The cord is not as long as other curlers but I do not mind, its done very well and has met all of my expectations.
- There ate a variety of heat settings, but I like to use 410 degrees Fahrenheit.
- I have thick, wavy hair naturally, and it worked so well, giving such perfect, bouncy curls, on the 410degree setting.
- The only one single con I have found with this wand is that it can get extremely extremely hot since it reaches 410 degrees so be sure to use a hair protectant on your hair. Also use the glove that is provided in the package it helps.
- Now the cons, the cord is short. I prefer to have long cord.
- The cord isn't long enough.
- Cord is a little short and unfortunately it's easy to accidentally switch the iron off.

- Barrel is a great size for no matter what you want to accomplish.
- This one has better weight and grip.
- This curling iron is the perfect size for my 6 year daughter's shoulder length hair.
- Barrel is perfect size for really short hair to take the wave out but leave behind soft little curls. I love it.
- Is much lighter in weight than my last one which is nice.
- This wand is bigger and makes softer curls which i LOVE. The curls are not super tight which is perfect if you are going for a softer curl look! The curls hold well throughout the day !
- I'm a huge fan of the wand curlers, have them in tons of different sizes. My hair is about to my chest & this curler gives it the beachhead wave look that I LOVE!
- It is light weight but still gives a lot of heat.
- I like the control with multiple settings and it is light weight.
- Very light weight, doesn't feel like a high end device but I find that more of a convenience if you're doing your own hair you don't want a bulky and heavy iron tiring you out.

- This also had a 60 minute auto shut off function. It has a protective cover if you need to put it away before it is totally cooled off. Great value.
- Multiple heat settings and shut-off are great.
- Also it has a variable heat with many different settings, instead of just high, medium. and low that many other curling irons have.
- Plus, I like that it is ceramic, which gives me a little more leadway knowing I'm not ruining her hair if I leave it in 1 place for too long, because her & I both know I am far from being a pro-hairstylist.
- The indicator light lets me know when it is hot enough.
- My only concern is that my thumb is always moving the heat setting.
- Auto shut off. This is a great feature, but it doesn't kick in until after an hour.
- The auto shut off is fantastic, good heat, fairly quick. Glove is nothing special, but nice perk. Overall it was a good buy.
- The digital temperature screen is bright and easy to read.
- It heats up very quickly and I find that I can use a lower heat setting on this than I use on tools that aren't ceramic.
- Note that there is a cool tip on the end of this wand. Some wands do not have this tip, and are heated through the entire barrel, right through to the end.
- The swivel cord keeps the cord from tangling.
- Easy to use with the rotating cord.
- Non - tangling cord, light weight.
- It heats up quickly and I like the swivel cord.
- The cord is a good length and swivels nicely.
- The swivel cord is great for reaching around your head without getting tangled up.
- The cord swivels and is just the right length.
- The swivel cord makes moving to different sections easy.
- The swivel cord is a great feature to keep it from getting tangled while you curl.
- The swivel cord is pretty junky looking, and gets tangled very easily.
