- It isn't a very big subwoofer. I have it in a vented box which is a little bigger than a sealed one.
- It takes up quite a bit of room but there is still plenty of space in my trunk. I can still fit a full sized cooler in my trunk in front of it.
- The box that you put it in has enough weight to it to keep it in position as well, but it is recommended to strap it down.
- I absolutely love it. I was surprised at the sheer weight of the thing because it weighs like 10 pounds.
- This is a heavy subwoofer that will be well secured in the trunk but will be difficult to install alone.
- I only have one sub but a nicely sized box and it sounds big and heavy.
- I really like this sub, it has incredible sound for its size.
- It's heavy, it looks great, materials feel like this thing can pump.
- The magnet on this thing is huge and the woofer is heavy and extremely well made.
- The sub is well built and HEAVY. During installation, you will need to use help.
- Excellent product. I am running this sub at the lowest frequency my amp will push. It takes as much volume as my amp is pushing. It works great.
- I have it in a sealed box, and the fast response and accurate sound of this sub are better than I could have hoped for.
- Very loud without distortion. I've impressed some audio geeks with it. I'm so happy with this purchase.
- Super crisp, super powerful. I could not ask for more. You get a nice sub.
- After a while, noise appeared at low frequencies. Which really upset me.
- This sub handles any type of music with ease. Produces great sounding bass at any volume and every frequency.
- I have it installed in the Q-power HD112VL ported box, it's a good combo, really good bass response, and very loud.
- This subwoofer has great crisp response (in a sealed box at least) and good deep range.
- I started noticing heavy distortion. This is THE worst Rockford product I have ever purchased.
- The frequency range isn't quite as good as some others are, the bass is considerably clearer and crispier than others, ESPECIALLY at high frequencies.
- The amp has a lot of features that help the set up as well. Once I have a chance to spec out the amp I expect the sound to continue to improve.
- The dual voice coils is a great feature that allows for maximizing the output in any single or multi-sub configuration.
- On a 500 watt Rockford amp and in a 1cuft sealed enclosure this thing puts the old kicker, and infinity reference to shame.
- Very clean down low bass for that G in me, and a hard impact for explosions during movies.
- Purchase subwoofer in october and it already died. I didnt blow the sub nor did go past half way on the punch control. Very disappointed.
- Proper subwoofer. Super heavy duty. I've always used the less expensive Kickers and they pound nicely, but this P3 is a huge step up.
- This subwoofer has great clarity, control and power. I have been impressed with its performance, there is a reason this has such high reviews, people are amazed at the quality and power.
- These hit HARD and my bass knob controller is only up halfway. Pulled into a parking lot and a guy asked me what was in my trunk.
- Overall quality of the subwoofer is good, it's definitely made of good materials and holds up extremely well over time.
- I have recently used this subwoofer with my home theater system, powered by only 300 watts and it coped with it poorly!
- The dual voice coils allow a single sub to be wired in either series or parallel for a 2, 4, or 8 ohm impedance.
- This thing is perfect for my car. I have it In a sealed enclosure and it bumps. The connection is easy and stable.
- Paired with a 650watt pioneer amp and crosswired it sounds fantastic.
- This works great and connects to different amplifiers.
- Works very well paired with an amp that will produce 400 watts RMS.
- I have two of these in a dual-sealed box. Each sub is wired for 2ohms and connected to Kenwood KAC-8105D amplifiers. They sound incredible!
- Connected to a 500 watt RMS alpine mono block D amp amp. This subwoofer was great.
- Easy to very plug in the car. It took 15 minutes.
- The sub stopped working after two days, something happened to the connector.
- A month later, the connector stopped holding the wires so the connection constantly disappeared.
