- This charger has saved me hundreds of dollars by reconditioning marginal batteries. Many times when a battery is accidentally drained, it becomes internally contaminated with deposits that can make the battery look dead.
- These are great and will keep your batteries maintained and operational for much longer than using a regular battery charger.
- This charger actually does what it says. I know that sulfation supposedly cannot be removed. One of these batteries, a Marine deep cycle, I equalized to 16 volts and it still rested 12.4 V.
- I love BatterMINDer products and have several. This is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. It comes with two battery connectors - alligator clips and round lugs.
- My one issue is it having a close circuit to the battery connectors when the charger is not connected to the wall.
- This unit has a timer-controlled multistage algorithm including: Battery Check, Constant Current Charge, Conditioning Charge, Desulfation Check, and long-term Constant Voltage Float Charge.
- It works flawlessly for both Automative Starter Batteries and Sealed AGM batteries. I can leave the charger attached for months without fear of 'cooking' the battery.
- This is will charge a battery fully, but for a car battery expect it to take days especially if completely dead.
- Overall a great item to keep your batteries in shape for non used equipment. It works well on both AGM and older Lead Acid batteries as well.
- I don't think it works, I try it couple of different batteries. I don't see really any improvement to internal resistance values. I do a battery tester that give me storage capacity and internal battery resistance.
- Twice now this unit has discharged a marine battery down to 9 volts over a 3 day period. The battery started off at 12 volts. Apparently this unit is faulty. don't know if I can return.
- Though the clips are relatively small, they're strong and they work.
- This is a Battery Tender vs BatteryMINDer review, because these seem to be the leaders in this class of small charger types
- The best small battery charger. I use it on my Lawn Tractor over the winter. Works great
- Small and handy, comes with gator clips and bolt on terminals for easy hook up to your vehicle battery.
- Good product, easy to use, small in size and I bought it on the commendation of the RV sights that i visit.
- It is small and compact and plugs directly into the floor outlet.
- Very compact and seems to work well. I've used this charger to keep my ATV, jet skis, and motorcycle batteries charged up.
- I own several of these and this model out does the rest with warranty and compact design, indicating a vast improvement in design, more up to date with power mosfets a chips.
- I think the best feature of it is the desulphation function. Maybe it is luck, but two of our car batteries are over 9 years old and still running strong.
- As another nice feature it includes various methods of connecting the Batteryminder.
- The fixed mount and alligator clips with the quick disconnect plug is a nice feature. I keep the fixed mount on my backup sump pump and the clips I use for the vehicles.
- The indicator light is a nice feature to let you know the state of charge.
- I think this is a better product because of the Desulfator feature.
- Does produce a 'DeSulfation' Pulse which may be effective in reviving and/or preventing mild Sulfation.
- The biggest benefit/feature of this charger is to inexpensively desulfate and maintain your batteries.
- Another great product by Battery MINDer. The desulfation feature is what sets this companies chargers apart. If you have a tired old battery, try desulfation.
- I don't like it. At least with my marine deep-cycle battery. the green light always blinks and never goes solid, the blue light flickers - sometimes at a random frequency.
- I bought this item a few months ago, at first it worked great I gave it 5 stars, but now after only using it 3 moths it just stopped working, I don't know if I got a defect or it's just not a good item, so I'd beware before I buy another one
