- My wife bought me this RTIC Cooler for my birthday and I've been quite happy with it after a month of use.
- I have tried lots of different small size coolers over the years. I have a Yeti Tundra and a Hopper but could not bring myself to spend the money on their small size flip top.
- The cooler keeps drinks cold for two days with an appropriate amount of ice packs even in the heat of the cab of the truck parked in the blistering sun.
- There is no handle on top of the RTIC like the YETI but straps can create a handle or throw over shoulder. For the money, RTIC is the way to go.
- My only complaint is that the handles do not have a velcro sleeve to hold them together making it difficult to pick up with one hand.
- I think the Hopper may actually hold ice better than my Tundra 45! It held 10 ice packs and food in the heat for 10 hours and the ice packs were still frozen solid.
- Seriously great cooler, got it on sale on Prime Day which reduced the sting a bit.
- This is a very well constructed cooler and is good looking. It does what it is supposed to.
- I mention this, because this hopper 20 model is currently discontinued, and i'm glad i still found a brand new, authentic piece with all of its paperwork here.
- I expected this cooler based on all of the hype to actually have ice last for more than a day. Inside of an apartment at 70 degrees a full 15 -20 lb bag of ice did not last over 24 hours.
- I have tried lots of different small size coolers over the years. I have a Yeti Tundra and a Hopper but could not bring myself to spend the money on their small size flip top.
- I like the size and weight, but it won't be holding ice for 5 days as claimed.
- I liked the size of the cooler. The ice does not stay cold as long as they had advertised. I was disappointed because that was the primary reason I purchased it.
- I love it, perfect size for 2. My daughters now want one so I may have to order 2 more.
- Great cooler!! This cooler is the perfect size for sporting events, picnics or bringing drinks to a friends house.
- What can I say. It is a Yetti. Had smaller hopper and wanted a larger size to carry more beverages. This thing is great.
- Perfect size, brought the 40 but it was way to big.
- Nice size and kept everything cold for the entire day.
- Love the size and durability but side zipper is terrible.
- This cooler is HUGE. It was heavy to pick it up without anything in it - I can't imagine how impractical it would be full of drinks.
- The features it had and I was anxious to try it out. I am glad I did. I would pack a 12 pack of beer in it and a 10 lb bag of ice... it worked flawlessly and kept my beer cold, kept ice for 2 days even in 100 plus degrees.
- My favorite feature is the insulated lid. It has a nice tight fit even when it is not zipped. I
- Some people have complained about the zipper being tough to use, but I've had no problems since I've used the provided silicone grease tube to keep the zipper lubed.
- The RTIC 20 zipper was a little difficult and the inside smelled so I had to clean it and then air it out for two days.
- The zipper is also very difficult to use....I wish I had spent the extra money and purchased a Yeti now.
- The side zipper for the opening makes it much easier to get items in or out. Keeps ice longer then other coolers.
- Bought as a present for my parents. They love it except that the zipper isn’t on the top it is on the side.
- The zipper is a bit tough to unzip but a small price to pay for what you get.
- The problem with the design is that my wife has a very hard time even opening the zipper and the bag is very stiff so to put anything of size into the top slit opening is ALWAYS a challenge.
- Have went through 2 because the zipper breaks.
