- I already had Zeiss binoculars; they were still good, but at 25 years old not good enough for my "older" eyesight! These new ones, however, are fantastic.
- We own older good binoculars but optics have improved over the years. For a serious birder, great binoculars are a must and Zeiss is one of the best brands.
- Stunning optics really enhance the experience of spotting those beautiful birds. They are great for low light viewing, not just morning and evening, but when you have a bird in deep shadow.
- Crisp and clear edge to edge. Easy to hold. Totally beautiful.
- These really are the best binoculars on the market. Clarity is outstanding and makes viewing a completely immersive experience.
- I find, though, that the greater magnification and detail make possible more rapid identification of birds that I see fleetingly.
- The slightly reduced field of view and the slightly increased need for a steadier hand are not that noticeable to me. But the increased magnification is very nice.
- I got the 10x magnification and have no trouble holding them steady.
- The clarity is absolutely the finest I've seen to date.
- I am not disappointed. I went with the 10 power for slightly better distance viewing and ID of raptors.
- The focus knob is much better, as well as the eyepieces and the entire design of the body.
- Zeiss products are expensive but their quality make these binoculars a true value. 5 star
- Lightweight, superb optics, comfortable to hold, this is a high quality item that will not disappoint, Recommended without hesitation.
- I have both Leitz & Leica Trinovid 10x40/10x42 & Zeiss 12x42 they are all back ups now to the Victory SF I love the weight and balance of the Victory SF the sharpness is superb.
- Weight balance is towards the face, which makes holding these up feel like they're weightless. Extremely pleased with this purchase.
- And the clarity and brightness all the way to the edge of the field is exceptional. My eyesight is very different in each eye and these have the best, largest and most positive diopter adjustment I have ever used.
- The ability to focus down to 5 feet allows study of the smallest details of the birds coming to our feeders.
- Very easy to adjust focus and quickly. I just think these Bin's are great.
- The field of view is wide and without distortion at the edge.
- The field of view is a bit narrower, so it is a little more difficult to get on the bird, particularly when it is nearby. I find, though, that the greater magnification and detail make possible more rapid identification of birds that I see fleetingly.
