The Arione Classic retains the shape of first Arione saddle, with a slightly longer, thinner nose, wider wings and higher profile compared to the 'new' Arione, but maintaining the overall length and width dimensions.

The Arione VS X is made for the Snake position within the Spine Concept. The VS X collection is meant for those consumers looking for the greatest relief zone. A 20 mm deep channel is designed to allow for a greater pressure relief while maintaining the stiffness and durability of a solid base saddle. Spine Concept is the fi'zi:k guideline to the right saddle choice. It realizes that cyclists have varying degrees of flexibility and human flexibility affects riding behavior when cycling in a high performance position.

In general, this saddle is well-padded and decently light for what it is.
It was slightly padded yet firm, and it was compliant in the winged section towards the back of it.
Overall, it's allowing me to ride comfortably in a number of aggressive, low positions while at the same time, providing a saddle top that allows for smooth, quick seating position transitions with no complaints from down under.
initial impressions are good. fit and finish are very nice. so far have only ridden in circles around my basement but feels good so far.
If you have a problem with numb-nuts on other saddles, this one is only going to make it worse.

Fizik Arione VS X Carbon Saddle

I later got this saddle and instantly, it felt like night and day. I had to adjust it forward than usual, but after that, no problems.
I find these seat comfortable. I like the channel and the length.
This is one of the best saddles I've used. It is comfortable for long and short distance rides.
The carbon versions seem to be a bit firmer but more forgiving than the plastic versio.
This saddle is much stiff than any chromoly saddle I've ever ridden probably due to the carbon rails.

Seats are a very personal choice, but this one was immediately comfortable as soon as I sat on it.
It has the necessary soft cushioning down the middle for male comfort, looks sharp, and is very light weight.
Good saddle I have used this same style for a long time with no problems.
Love the look and feel completely. Great light saddle for the price.
Probably a little expensive for what it is. You're paying for the name, but the classic shape is hard to go wrong with.

Fizik Arione VS X Carbon Saddle

I live where road are pretty shotty and wanted to dampen some of these road vibarations. This saddle does just that.
Great saddle, Fizik saddles are always well designed and made.
Brilliant saddle and very comfortable. Perfect for long distance rides but also with a good bib.
Excellent saddle for my purpose racing training, not so comfy for slow long rides though.
The saddle construction is poor. Also while riding it makes a creaking noise.
