What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Sennheiser HD 800 Reference Dynamic Headphone
- Great headphones! Very light weight, incredible open sound stage. Audio quality is a 5.
- They are relatively light, with solid construction, and exert considerably less caliper pressure than anything in the HD5xx or 6xx lines.
- Wonderfully light and comfy, a treat to slip on. Snug and not fatiguing.
- 330 grams is light enough for a very long time wearing.
- The construction is impeccable with perfect weight distribution and styling to match.
beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro Open Studio Headphones
- The cord they use is fantastic, very thin, lightweight, doesn't scuff my clothes while listening to music.
- The fit is fantastic and the sound is out of this world. I'm no audio expert but compared to the Sennheiser they sound fuller.
- Beautiful construction without being needlessly heavy (Headphones should never go over 500grams in my humble opinion).
- It's not very portable, so don't expect to carry it around without some inconvenience.
- Due to their weight and clamping force there are more comfortable headphones out there (Sennheiser HD600/650/800 for example).

What customers say about "Features"
Sennheiser HD 800 Reference Dynamic Headphone
- The HD800 has solid construction, no question about it. They're made to last, and resist chipping, scratching, and bending.
- The sound is wide open, unlike the 600s or 650s, and manage to allow you to get swallowed into a large, detailed, but never aggressive, soundstage.
- Bass is tuneful, but not overdone. Mids are open and spacious, not warm, not closed in, not shouty. Highs are pristine, crystal clear, extended, and effortless in their extension.
- These headphones are amazing. They are very comfortable. The most comfortable headphones I have ever worn.
- Truly high fidelity sound. Balance is good. Very clear. Because I’ am violinist, the playback is quite real. I give it 5 stars and an A+.
beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro Open Studio Headphones
- These Beyers are built like a tank, very solid, robust phones. Sound is great as you can read in numerous reviews elsewhere.
- The fit and finish screams German quality. Hands down the best built headphones I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.
- Sound- Alive. That is the one word that describes this headphone. For the first time, I have a headphone that feels alive. The detail is insane.
- These DT1990s have this fantastic ability to pull apart each track into the individual instruments, especially in rock music.
- Everything just sounds.. so good! Probably the most neutral sounding headphones I have heard so far.
