The Benchmark for Quality
Every driver wants his/her favorite music playing in a car, but audio systems often have no plugs for mp3 devices or wireless interfaces. GOgroove had taken into this issue and offered a great solution. We analyzed their new product called FlexSMART X3 and were impressed with its sound quality. The main peculiarity is the A2DP technology that transfers stereo sound from a smartphone or other portable devices via Bluetooth to the transmitter. Then, the latter reproduces the audio data in ultimate quality through your car speakers. The sound is truly surrounding and lively. The AUTO-SCAN feature will help you find an ideal FM-station and tune the unit to the best frequency. When you get into your car and start the engine, FlexSMART X3 is ready to go too! It automatically pairs with your phone to stream the music or receive the calls.
Useful Extras
First of all, this FM transmitter is paired with a powerful USB port for charging a phone or GPS gadget. What's more, if your phone has no Bluetooth, you can connect it via conventional AUX 3.5 mm plug. Note that the cable is already included. Lastly, we can't disagree that a flexible neck is a very convenient accessory. It allows you to mount the transmitter in the most comfortable place for easy reach.

Which Music is the Best for Driving?
As scientists claim, the music affects drivers' behavior and defines the probability of accidents. A lot of drivers believe that loud and rhythmical music helps stay awake when driving in the daytime, while calm songs are perfect for relaxing in the evening. Surprisingly, this turned to be wrong. Gordon Shou, an American scientist, has proved this in his research!
Aсtually, dynamic and fast music influences the driving behavior by creating nervousness and desire of rapid movements. Accordingly, the likelihood to get into a car accident dramatically grows. Rock, house music, hip-hop, and other related music genres should not be in your playlist when you drive a car. These music genres might distract you from steering or you may just ignore some warning signals, for example, the beeping of parking sensors, etc.
We advise listening to classical music and other calm tracks that won't distract you. In such a way, the driving will be smooth and more gentle, and the overspeeding will be hardly possible.

Simplicity is a Key to Success
This is one of the most widespread FM transmitters for those who need to connect smartphone or player via AUX jack. This unit is notable for its simplicity and absence of wireless solutions that might be needless but make you pay for. Speak about JETech installation, you don't need to have deep knowledge of electronics to set it up and use. This simplicity makes it available for everyone.
How did Radios Get into Cars?
The cars were first equipped with radios in the early 1920s. The drivers of that epoch already started upgrading their vehicles. There were only two ways to do it; install either powerful truck engines or radio receivers. Both ways were challenging and even equated. The car radios that we have now didn't exist then, so drivers picked home radios and rearranged them for 6V vehicle socket. Nobody cared about the sound quality as that wasn't the main problem. Despite plenty of efforts, the radio receivers didn't serve long being unfit for road trips.
Ten years later, William Lear improved car radios by the arrangement of volume and frequency controls on a dashboard and upgraded a powering by means of a special converter. He was also the first who used metal envelopes for vacuum tubes to extend their life. As a result, car radios lasted longer.
Since then, the car radio evolution just kept going as Lear has sold his patents to the well-known Motorola company that launched the serial production of car radios.

A Little Entertainment
The Nulaxy KM18 takes your car cigarette lighter and turns your old car radio into a full-blown entertainment center. It has numerous advantages over most similar devices and it comes at a fair price.
Of course, it all starts with the appearance. It isn't the most important part of a transmitter like that but it is the part that you're going to notice first. For the most part, we like the way this little device looks. You have a relatively large 1.44-inch display that will help you better visualize information and control its multitude of functions. More specifically, the said display shows the FM frequency, connection source, the name of the song, incoming phone number, and car battery voltage. It includes blue LED backlighting, so you'll always be able to make sense of that information even without turning the lights on.
Below the screen, you'll find 5 different buttons: 2 to the left side, 2 to the right, and one in the middle. The ones on the sides will let you scroll through the songs and stations. The middle button is responsible for the hands-free talking function.
As you'd imagine, you press it and you have the ability to enjoy a conversation with both of your hands on the steering wheel. The built-in microphone that the transmitter comes with does a pretty decent job of reducing the background noise and ensuring a clear enough message.
Plenty of Music Sources
Functionality is one of the best parts of this FM transmitter and part of that functionality stems from its number of ports. You have a Bluetooth 3.0 port, an AUX port, as well as a slot for TF/MicroSD cards (up to 32 gigabytes). It also comes equipped with a 5V/2.1A USB charging port, so you'll be able to charge your mobile devices faster and safer.
Unfortunately, the port serves a strictly charging purpose, so you'll have to rely on the Bluetooth interface to connect your smartphone to your car radio. On the bright side, you get to enjoy the advantages of a wireless connection.
We have more or less described everything you can do with this transmitter but let's recap anyway. First, you can answer phone calls with a single click of a button and enjoy a hands-free conversation. Second, you can listen to music from your smartphone, tablet, laptop, mp3 player, TF or MicroSD card, or any device connected via an AUX cable.
You can use the voltmeter function to monitor the condition of your car battery. And you get to use the secure and reliable USB port to charge your gadgets. All in all, not a bad deal as far as we're concerned.

What Is an FM Transmitter?
Most people these days spend a lot of time in their vehicles. Of course, listening to the radio to pass the time or make the process a little less boring might seem like a good idea. Unfortunately, most car radios broadcast only FM stations, with tons of ads and can’t be connected to external memory devices for music playback. Buying a new high-tech car radio is not a cheap way to solve the problem, and that's where an FM transmitter comes in helpful. A personal FM transmitter is a device that is powered by a car cigarette lighter and transmits audio signals from portable digital devices to a car radio via FM frequency. It can significantly expand your car’s radio abilities, and we'd like to help you choose the right one.
Though we know that answering phone calls while driving is not a good idea, we still have to do it sometimes. Which is why it makes sense to buy a special holder that will let you keep your phone in front of you and answer incoming call without taking it in hands.
What Features to Compare
Functions
First of all, pay attention to the functions when buying an FM transmitter.
The FM transmitter’s connectivity with different devices is of great importance. For example, it’s nice to have an SD card slot for playing music or audio books from SD memory cards; USB port will allow comfortable hookup of flash drives and music playback in MP3 and WMA formats. Bluetooth connection allows wireless streaming of music from portable devices, for example, from a smartphone. In addition, Bluetooth enables hands-free communication through the car speakers without distraction from driving.
Control
The FM transmitter control should be convenient and easy for a driver as the safety on the road is a top priority. Most probably, you’ll control your transmitter by touch, so pay attention to the buttons’ location and size as well as the backlight for easy navigation in the dark. A remote control will let you gain a full control over an FM transmitter at a distance. It is particularly convenient when you need to turn a track on or set the frequency, sitting on the back seat of a car.
Design
Having considered the foregoing features of an FM transmitter, you should decide on its design that is also significant. A transmitter should be convenient and blend into your car’s interior well. Once connected to a cigar lighter, a transmitter shouldn’t impede the access to the other units in your car, for example, radio or air conditioner. After all, you’ll hardly desire to have a ridiculously looking device in your car that creates a nuisance. Pay attention to the arrangement of connecting ports on an FM transmitter. The devices connected to a transmitter must not obstruct the gear lever or dashboard controls.
