What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Westone UM Pro 20 Dual-Driver Universal-Fit In-Ear Musicians’ Monitors
- Out of the box comfort. Very picky with comfort and the right size tip. These headphones meets expectations.
- I contacted Westone about it and they said the reason they use such light gage wire is for the weight factor so they can be worn for extended periods of time without fatigue from a heavier cable.
- They are a tad on a large size, so people with smaller ears will find these difficult to fit the bodies of the units in what I call the pockets of your ears.
- The size is a bit larger. Stands out of my ear.
- The small case they come in is basically unusable - it's a nice case, but so small you have to jam them in there!
Shure SE425 Sound Isolating Earphones
- They're super comfortable so I can easily sleep with them on.
- The audio is crisp and clean, and I have never felt/experienced such a great and comfortable fit- in terms of both comfort and sound isolation.
- They can be a little finicky to get in correctly, but if done right they stay comfortable for extended listening sessions.
- They are comfortable for hours on end; although for the first few days to a week, after a few hours they become uncomfortable, but after that you get used to them and it is no longer an issue.
- The amount of tips it comes with are nice to have, it gives you options for a comfortable fit or different places you are playing in.

What customers say about "Features"
Westone UM Pro 20 Dual-Driver Universal-Fit In-Ear Musicians’ Monitors
- Have detachable cord, multiple type/size ear pieces, and a nice vented case.
- Excellent fit, good sound, nice to have a replaceable cord.
- I love the cord and they fit comfortably.
- They are very good for sound isolation, fit , and comfort
- This is a quality headset. I use it for my wireless system wireless monitor system.
- Only other down side is the cord it's very light gauge.
- I like the silicone tips better but the big ones don't isolate as good as my old ones.
Shure SE425 Sound Isolating Earphones
- The cord wrapping around your ear design is very cool, though a little less convenient for those with glasses I found.
- A big pro that I haven't used yet is the detachable cords. Often times the cord is the weak link in a pair of headphones. With these, if the cord breaks you can just replace it. Very nice.
- I like the replaceable cords ( though has never been a problem for me with Shure).
- But the audio is crisp and clean, and I have never felt/experienced such a great and comfortable fit- in terms of both comfort and sound isolation.
- I'm also in airplanes every week so sound isolation is important.
- Over the ears cord also gets in the way more.
