What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Sennheiser Momentum (506231) In Ear (iOS version)
- The proper weight, good noise isolation, quality sound and no noise from your mic on the go.
- Light weight and crisp mids, they feel really solid too. The only thing these ear buds severely lack is bass.
- These are incredibly light. Some might think that means cheap, but really it just means your ears won't be weighed down by them for long listening sessions.
- Earpieces were very light weight, and I also found a slit port opening at the top which I'm sure contributed to a wide airy soundstage.
- The headphone pieces (not the silicon tips) are heavy and jut out of your ear quite a bit, causing a slight, but noticeable downward pull when in your ears
Sennheiser CX 3.00 In-Ear Canal Headphone
- I listen to music a lot and I want inner earphones that fit well for me and are very comfortable too.
- I've had these for a month. I love how light weight these are and my ears are never physically fatigued while having them on for hours.
- Instead of plastic, there is metal in the earbuds which make them a bit heavier, but with the interchangeable ear pieces you can find the correct fit so they are snug in your ears. The weight only comes into play if you're wearing them in the gym or jogging.
- The sound quality is pretty close to other earbuds that cost twice as much, and they are more comfortable than the two I compared them to.
- The CX 3.00 only has two options tip options (previous had 4) and they are both "harder" rubber than the previous version. As a result, they are not nearly as comfortable, tend to fall out, and are do not block noise. I purchased a set of Comply Foam Tips as a replacement.

What customers say about "Features"
Sennheiser Momentum (506231) In Ear (iOS version)
- I'm not a base head so this is some of the best quality sound I've experienced. It's super clear and crisp.
- Sound quality is excellent, particularly at the mid and low frequencies. Very comfortable after several hours of use.
- Works well with my iPhone 6plus. Easy to adjust volume and change tracks while on the go.
- The earphone case was nice. They look good. They're smaller in person than they appear in the pictures. The volume buttons work.
- Biggest gripe was the 90 degree phone jack - very poorly designed. I don't see enough reinforced cabling for earbuds so it needs to be a thing - especially for such a big brand like Sennheiser.
- Higher frequencies can be very harsh depending on the playback device. On an iPhone I counter this by setting the equalizer to reduce treble, which results in absolutely incredible sound, but this shouldn't be necessary.
Sennheiser CX 3.00 In-Ear Canal Headphone
- Sounds great very, comfortable , I have it over 2 months - still works like new!
- These being Sennheiser, they definitely come through with quality. They sound very full and immersive amongst all frequencies, especially the bass. I've read other reviews that say the bass on these are just too much, often overpowering.
- Strong but not overbearing bass, balanced highs and with clarity I don't hear in some higher priced models in the 50 to 100 dollar range. Mids are slightly flat but not falling out of balance with the lows and highs. No cord noise.
- Sound is very personal, and I like the sound of these, but I'm having trouble finding the right ear size. And unfortunately, the old ear adapters don't fit the new headphones, otherwise we'd be talking 5 stars.
- The cord is of good/ above average quality and the packaging is rather elegant. Perhaps if the sound had a bit more bass, it might make up for the over-exceeding treble.
- They dont sound any better than my $10 Samsungs. If they do I can't tell and it's not worth the extra money.
