The bottom is easily punctured.

Unlike most portable pools, Yaheetech Foldable Hard Plastic Pet Swimming Pool will last. Provided you avoid sharp objects, the pool will be able to go the distance, with its internal panels made from thickened MDF preventing the pool from deforming.

Indoor Dog Swimming Pool

The Yaheetech Foldable Hard Plastic Pet Swimming Pool has been designed with meticulous attention to detail. First things first, the pool comes featuring a maximum fill line. As long as you place the pool on flat, smooth ground without any sharp objects (because the bottom is easily punctured), the line will tell you when you should stop pouring, eliminating guesswork.

Second, this sizable (55.1 x 11.8 inches, although you can also choose between 48- and 63-inch options) wading pool for dogs features frost- and UV-resistant coating, so you can place the doggie pool outside without worrying about the elements. Its wrapped edges will minimize wear and tear and protect the circumference from punctures. Meanwhile, the textured non-slip bottom makes this strong dog swimming pool perfectly suitable for playing around without the doggo slipping and falling.

To the sides, the pool adopts thickened MDF panels, preventing the construction from deforming and making sure that even the most unruly pets cannot cause any considerable damage.

Summing up, as long as your backyard has enough available space, what the people behind Yaheetech are presenting here lands among the best dog pools for large dogs (not to mention temperamental).

Only the Largest Backyards Will Do

The Pecute Dog Swimming Pool is pretty cute, sure. It is also massive, measuring 63 x 12 inches, so kids can play and swim with the dog. What separates this kiddie pool for dogs from most pools is also its tough construction. Between the wear-resistant, 0.3-mm thick PVC and integrated 0.5-centimeter thick high-strength compression medium-density fiberboard panels, the pool can withstand considerable load without breaking easily. There's also high-strength crimping between these panels, meaning that you don't have to worry about the pool accidentally collapsing.

As much as we value durability though, comfort is important too, hence the anti-slip patterns on the bottom so that kids and dogs can paddle and splash without slipping and falling. Now, because the construction is so layered, it will take you some time to fold and stuff the pool inside the supplied carry bag. The upside is that, in addition to the bag, the shipment will also include a repair patch so that you can quickly patch the pool up on the road.

Last but not least, the pool features an integrated handle. Rotating this handle, you'll open the model's drain outlet, enabling easy drainage. Including the outlet featuring seamed seals that prevent leaks, this is one tough foldable dog pool.

Chilling Outside

The Fuloon Portable PVC Pet Swimming Pool will provide cooling fun, allowing average-sized dogs to cool off when the temperature outside becomes unbearable. That being said, even when the temperature is alright, most dogs will enjoy waddling and paddling inside the pool. Sure, this one measures only 32 x 8 inches, so large dogs will not be able to do much but stand/sit/lie there. But, you can also select between 40-, 47-, and 63-inch pools, so the choice is yours.

The fiberboard panels inside the pool's walls are advertised as time-resistant, which probably means that these panels should last. Considering that they're made from 0.5-centimeter thick high-strength compression boards, we would not bet against that too. Still, even despite that, and the high-strength crimping between these boards, the walls might not retain shape.

Besides that, the pool's not that different from most swimming pools for dogs, including the anti-skid bottom that prevents even the fluffiest paws from slipping and sliding and the embedded plug that lets you drain the water fast and simple. Finally, the foldable design will allow you to bring this small pool for dogs with you, so you can have the doggo chillin' anywhere, at your friends, on the road, you name the place.

An Inflatable Splash Pad

As you can tell from the pictures, the Zen Laboratory Inflatable Splash Pad is a little different. Calling the model an inflatable dog pool would be a little inaccurate since the depth is not there (measuring only 5 inches) but the circumference (68 inches) and the sprinklers are, accommodating large dogs and multiple kids and hitting them with multiple jets around the pool.

The model's advantages and disadvantages compared to standard dog pools are somewhat obvious but we'll outline them anyway. Unless the dog is tiny, you will not be able to bathe the furry little rascal inside this pool. On the bright side, chances are, the doggo will find this pool much more enticing than those standard pools, with jets spraying and splashing it from all sides. Plus, you can adjust the spray height, choosing between three settings.

The package does not disappoint too, including a storage bag, repair patch, hose connector, and pressure washers. The downsides? Well, the bottom could use some anti-skid texture because, as it is right now, the pool's pretty slippery. Aside from that, the Zen Laboratory Inflatable Splash Pad is just too much fun. Plus, the model does not include traditional swimming pools' safety hazards, so you can leave pets and kids playing there without any oversight.

Indoor Dog Swimming Pool for the Smallest Doggies

Lily's Pet Portable Folding Swimming Pool will only fit the smallest doggos. Stretching just 18 x 9 inches, the pool will usually not even fit large breeds' puppies. On the upside, the "portable" part rings true. Besides its compact size, the model also boasts carry straps/handles, so transporting this pool even with the pet inside will prove quite easy and also pretty comfortable.

Some customers argue that the pool could use a drainage hole but, to be honest, considering the size, this little bag-like pool drains within 1-2 minutes anyway, so the hole's unnecessary. What is quite necessary, however, is an external pocket where you can put different small items like shampoos, brushes, and so on, transporting them and keeping them accessible at the same time.

Made from 600D Oxford fabric and adopting PVC walls, the pool does not take too much time to dry. Even more, the aforementioned fabric is also resistant against tears, cuts, and punctures, featuring stitched seams and waterproof walls, so the bag doubles as a functional bathtub.

Taking everything into account, people with small dogs cannot go wrong with Lily's Pet Portable Folding Swimming Pool. Although not advertised as a puppy swimming pool, the model might accommodate certain sizable breeds' puppies too.

What Is a Dog Pool?

Unlike most cats, dogs love bathing, swimming, and anything in-between that. But in-ground dog pools usually cost two small fortunes, hence these foldable dog pools. As you can imagine, these inflatable pools can be put anywhere, as long as there's enough available space.

Generally speaking, they're ranging between ~30 and ~65 inches circumference-wise, so most backyards can accommodate them. The smallest pools will only let you bathe large dogs, whereas the largest pools will even let the doggo splash and fool around. At times, you'll find models that are less than 5 inches deep but also include sprinklers, so while these splash pads cannot be used to bathe dogs, they can be used to entertain them.

More often than not, the best models come featuring PVC coating and fiberboard/MDF panels so that the pool is not especially weak against puncturing and is able to retain its shape. Setting the materials aside, these pools might include anti-skid bottoms, drainage holes, and carry handles, making the product more comfortable both for you and your pet.

Even though the pools within this selection can usually accommodate kids too, we'd recommend these inflatable pools instead if you're looking for something that the kid will not outgrow in a couple of years.
