Cryorig R1 Ultimate (CR-R1A) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with 2xXF140 fans
- Comes close, within 1-2C. But without the ugly brown/beige fans. It is a huge air cooler and its very easy to install. The fans are louder than the Noctuas if you run 1000rpm+.
- It was amazing...quiet, sleek and easy to install. Thermals were pretty impressive as it cooled my FX8350 at an average of 7°C cooler than the H80i it replaced, and was more quiet witht he chip OC to 4.8Ghz.
- Exchanged a water cooler to go back to fan cooling and I bought this. For my build it is huge (and I have a pretty standard build) reason is, it covers my first two ram slots. But it is alright and my computer runs amazing!
- Love this thing. I have it on my 6700k that is Overclocked to 4.6ghz at 1.33v and the chip never gets over 65c during stress testing after an hour of running Aida64 full bore.
- Great cooler , able to cool my i7 7700k at 5ghz no issues
Cryorig R1 Universal (CR-R1B) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with XF140 and Xt140 fans
- This thing works amazingly well. I have it in a 450d case and it sits almost flush with the window. On an i5 running 4.5ghz, at idle I get as low as 20-23c, after running prime95 for almost an hour I average around 45-50c.
- This thing rocks! its super silent and keeps everything cool! Going to purchase another for my new build!
- Replaced a couple of Cooler Master Hyper D92s running low 60s C with my dual E5-2687W v2 set up during long lightwave renders. Saw temps drop 10 degrees throughout.
- Best performing air cooler I've seen
- Keeps CPU well below 50C when performing full on stress test

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Cryorig R1 Ultimate (CR-R1A) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with 2xXF140 fans
- In the case, it looks absolutely massive. It does clear my RAM but I am at more or less normal height for the RAM. I could give it maybe another half centimeter of height but if you're putting any crazy RAM in there, you may want the Universal model as that is supposedly designed to fit better.
- The mounting was simple though I did have small issues with the screws on the cooler, removed the middle can and all good. SILENT.
- It was a tight fit, but it works great and runs cool
- Be forewarned, though, this thing is huge. Check your measurements twice before buying!
- Only thing to warn people about is RAM clearance. This CPU cooler does block the first AND second ram slots, so you will need to use low profile ram like Vengeance LPX.
- This highly rated cooler will not work on an EVGA Z270 FTW K motherboard as it contacts the MB heat sink between processor and i/o ports and will not properly seat on the CPU as a result.
Cryorig R1 Universal (CR-R1B) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with XF140 and Xt140 fans
- On my particular motherboard, I tried the 'no RAM clearance' claim, and it is true! I can fit a DIMM in the slot closest to the cooler! (Gigabyte AX-370 Gaming)
- This cooler is big. I mean really big. As in if you laid it flat on a mITX motherboard it would cover almost all of it. Check the size of your case to make sure you will have room.
- Huge let down. My temps didn’t change one bit from what I had before and I had a little cooler before less then half the size of this.
- Large, but it is actually cooling my memory too. The fans are pulling fresh air across my memory heat sinks.
- Fairly tall even for a big cooler so double check height on cases.
- Quite large, so only fits in particular cases

What customers say about "Features"
Cryorig R1 Ultimate (CR-R1A) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with 2xXF140 fans
- Works great. OC to 4.5 with a 6700k, 1070 SC @ 2560x1080 voltage @ 1.285 and temps are fine. Prime 95 pushes about 80, but nothing else ever pushes it past 60's. Gaming it is very rare to see 60 at all.
- The fans are also reasonably quiet. I use my computer as a home theater gaming PC, so it is connected to my TV and I sit about 12 ft away.
- Tems are great. Fans are a little noisy or maybe I'm just used to the noise level of my old d15.
- Getting it in place was a bit tricky, would have been helpful if the instructions mentioned that taking off the fan/fans makes mounting it about 10 times easier. Other then that its a great product, and its unbelievably quiet, especially coming from a corsair h100 water cooler.
- Unfortunately, if I push it to 5 GHz the temps are a bit too high for comfort, but I can happily settle for 4.9 GHz if it keeps water out of my rig.
Cryorig R1 Universal (CR-R1B) Dual Tower CPU Heatsink with XF140 and Xt140 fans
- Quiet - most of the time I can't hear it. Compared to the Corsair h80i I used to use in my previous system, this is so quiet sometimes I wonder if the computer is even running.
- As a whole, the cooler is rather quiet. It's not noticeably louder than the rest of my fans (granted I have 7 total case fans running).
- Way easier to install compared to, say, the CoolerMaster Hyper 212's clunky parts
- The bars that come with it allow you to position the fans in different directions. Very helpful. Extremely quite.
- The low profile fan can get a tad loud once it spins up past 50%.
